Appearance[]

Transclusion
This section, or a part of it, has been transcluded from Bea; any changes involving it should be made there instead.

Bea is a slender, fit young girl with tan skin, gray eyes, and neck-length gray hair styled as a bobcut. She wears a skintight black bodysuit (through which the imprint of her navel and abs can be seen) and a uniform that slightly resembles a modified karate gi. It consists of a cut-off white shirt with a black collar and some designs on it, including the Fighting type and Gym Challenge symbols. The shirt also has a black bow that sits just below Bea's bust- when she is defeated in battle, she can be seen adjusting it. To complete her uniform, Bea wears a pair of white shorts with orange and black details and the number "193" on them, along with a black and orange glove on her right hand. For accessories, Bea wears a black and orange hairband in her hair that slightly resembles rabbit ears, a Dynamax Band, and gray kneepads. Finally, Bea is also barefoot, a trait she shares with other Fighting-type specialists.

Personality[]

Bea is a determined Gym Leader, who prefers to trian herself to become the best, even though this causes her to neglect her duties.

Biography[]

Sword & Shield arc[]

Bea called Melony on the phone, telling her that Bede's endorsement was revoked by Chairman Rose. Melony, who left Circhester, was in shock, knowing that Chairman Rose could've talked things over with Bede instead. She also wondered if Bea paused her training to face challengers. Bea reminded that it'd be disrespectful for her to battle half-hearted, but Melony reminded her that she could nevertheless get fired. Thus, Bea faced challengers in Stow-on-Side with Grapploct.[1] Because Allister was absent from Stow-on-Side Gym, Bea took on Marnie's Gym Challenge. She used Hitmontop against Marnie's Morpeko, a battle Marnie later commented it to be tough.[2]

Bea answered to the Gym Leaders' call about Chairman Rose's questionable activities. She met up with Allister, Gordie and Melony at Rose Tower, and were joined by Piers, Hop, Marnie, Henry Sword and Casey. Piers gasped, seeing Gordie and Melony reunited, to which Bea joked that they came separately. After being joined by Kabu and Milo, the group heard a battle raging from the tower. Inside, they found Bede and Opal confronting Oleana, who refused to move, as Chairman Rose was not present. Oleana, seeing that they would not leave, sent her Pokémon to stop them, and in that moment, the group came in as well, sending their Pokémon to battle. With Chairman Rose unleashing the Darkest Day in Hammerlocke, the Pokémon of Wyndon were Dynamaxed, and this caused people to panic. Bea believed Oleana was just stalling them, to prevent them from interfering. In order to go to Hammerlocke, the group was picked up by Professor Magnolia, who rode away in her motorhome.[3]

Bea was in the motorhome heading to Hammerlocke, which, due to a collapsed bridge, took a bumpy ride on the railway. On the way, she heard that some of the Trainers required assistance in battling Dynamaxed Pokémon. Allister wanted her to go in his stead, but she explained she was too inexperienced to take on giant Pokémon all by herself. Piers proposed that they both go, and promised they would call them if they would need help. Thus, Bea remained behind in the motorhome, as Magnolia drove them away.[4] Having received word that Macro Cosmos' employees were sent to deal with Dynamaxed Pokémon in Galar cities, Bea decided with the rest of the Gym Leaders to return to Hammerlocke to provide support. The motorhome rode away, but stopped when a blast struck a hole in the road.[5]

Allister and the rest arrived to Hammerlocke, when they witnessed a bright flash coming from the rooftop. When they came to the top, they saw everyone having fallen unconscious, so they had called a medical team to take them to Hammerlocke hospital. There, Allister and Bea discussed with others how they couldn't find Henry Sword, and that traces of Eternatus, Zacian and Zamazenta had disappeared.[6]
