Machamp was Bea's third Pokémon in her battle against Ash, going up against Ash's Lucario. It strikes the aura Pokémon with Cross Chop and later binds it, only for Lucario to eventually break free.[2]After clashing against Lucario and later Sirfetch'd, it was then recalled. Machamp was then sent out again to battle Lucario and Gigantamaxed as Lucario Mega Evolved. While Machamp was able to severely damage Lucario with its Max Moves and G-Max Chi-Strike, it was forced to revert after Lucario fires an Aura Sphere at its head. Using G-Max Chi Strike's increased critical hit boost, Machamp tries to finish Lucario off with Bullet Punch, but is overpowered by Lucario's newly learnt Steel Beam and defeated.[3]
