This Grapploct is a Fighting-type Pokémon owned by Bea.
Biography[]
Grapploct was first used in her battle against the Koichi and won after defeating both his Hitmonlee, his Hitmonchan. Grapploct then was Bea's second Pokémon in her World Coronation Series battle against Ash, where it went up against his Riolu. After a tough battle, Grapploct won.[1] It later appeared in a flashback when Ash was thinking about battling at distance rather than close range.[2]
Grapploct was sparring with Chuck's Poliwrath at the Cianwood Gym. During Ash's rematch against Bea, Grapploct was sent out after Hitmontop was defeated by Ash's Pikachu. Grapploct managed to defeat Pikachu with the Octolock-Liquidation combination before facing off against Riolu once again. Although Riolu managed to use Grapploct's arms against it, both were knocked out.[3]
Bea, along with her Grapploct, appeared as a silhouette in a fantasy, foreshadowing the future opponents Ash would face in the World Coronation Series.[4]
Grapploct was one of the three Pokémon used by Bea during Ash's third match against her, where it fought against Pikachu briefly before Ash recalled it for his now-evolved Lucario. After dodging an Aura Sphere, Bea recalled it for her Hawlucha. After Hawlucha was knocked out by Pikachu, Bea resent Grapploct, who finished Pikachu off with a powerful Close Combat after he tried to relax himself to escape Octolock. Ash then sent Lucario out once again, who proceeded to knock Grapploct out with a single Aura Sphere, overpowering its Liquidation.[5]
