This Banette, nicknamed Bay-Bay, is a Ghost-type Pokémon owned by Nurse Joy.
Biography[]
This Banette was originally a Substitute plush originally owned by a Nurse Joy who lived in a large mansion. As she grew up, she forgot about the plush, causing it to hold a deep grudge against her and turn into a Banette in the process. Desperate to find its owner, it began stealing heart-shaped items and following people with a heart-shaped hair tie. Upon encountering Ash and his group, they offered to help find its original owner, which it accepted. They could not initially find the owner, so Banette dejectedly left, but when Brock realized that its owner was actually Nurse Joy, they found Banette and informed it they discovered its owner, where it reunited with her and became her assistant.
