The Battle Tower is a battle facility in the Galar region, located in Wyndon and owned by Leon. It was known as the Rose Tower when it was owned by Chairman Rose.

Mechanics[]

The battles are held on the top of the tower, and since the tower is built on a Power Spot, Trainers can Dynamax their Pokémon here. There are two battle formats available in the Battle Tower: Single Battles and Double Battles.

Ranks and Tiers[]

There are different ranks and tiers. If the player has moved up to the next rank for the first time, they will return to the reception and be rewarded some items. However, losing too many battles may result in the player dropping in rank only.

As there are two battle formats, these rewards can be given twice.

Restrictions[]

Like previous battle facilities, the Battle Tower has several restrictions:

All Pokémon above level 50 is set to level 50.
The player's Pokémon must be of different species.
The player cannot use items from the bag. Held items can still be used, and they are restored after each battle.
The Pokémon's held items must be different.

Before the player can advance into the next tier, Leon will battle them. Most of Leon's team is randomly selected from the Pokémon below, except Charizard, which is always on his last slot of the team and will be Gigantamaxed at the first opportunity.
