Battle Bond

Battle Bond (Japanese: きずなへんげ, Hepburn: Kizuna Henge) is an event-exclusive Ability exclusive to Greninja, introduced in Generation VII.

Effect

Generations	Description
Generation VII	Defeating an opposing Pokémon strengthens the Pokémon's bond with his Trainer, and he becomes Ash-Greninja. Water Shuriken gets more powerful.
Generation VIII
Generation IX	In Scarlet & Violet, changes to boost Attack, Speed and Special Attack when opponents are knocked out.

When the Pokémon causes another Pokémon to faint with a damaging move, it will transform into a stronger form with improved stats. Water Shuriken is guaranteed to hit 3 times and its damage is also changed from 15 to 20. This Ability cannot be changed or copied.
