Barb Barrage is a Poison-type move introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature move of Hisuian Qwilfish and Overqwil.
Description[]
Games | Description |
---|---|
LA | The user launches countless toxic barbs to inflict damage. This may also poison the target. This move's power is doubled if the target has a status condition. |
SV | The user launches countless toxic barbs to inflict damage. This may also poison the target. This move's power is doubled if the target is already poisoned. |
Effects[]
Barb Barrage does damage and has a 30% chance to poison the target. Like Hex, if the target is afflicted with a nonvolatile status condition (such as Burn, Paralysis etc.), it doubles in power.
Using Barb Barrage in the Strong Style twenty times in Generation VIII will allow Hisuian Qwilfish to evolve into Overqwil.
