Gym Mission

As Opal is looking for a person to success her position as the Gym Leader, the Gym mission consists of an audition.

The audition consists of three battles with three Gym Trainers. At the end of the first turn, the Gym Trainer will ask the player a question; answering the question correctly gives the player's Pokémon a 1-stage stat boost, while a wrong answer will give it a 1-stage stat reduction.

Sordward and Shielbert

During the post-game, the player, Hop and Piers arrive at the stadium to pursue Sordward and Shielbert who force Pokémon to Dynamax and rampage in the stadiums. However, in Ballonlea Stadium, Bede, as the new Gym Leader, has already calmed three Dynamax Pokémon down. Before the trio can leave, Bede challenges the player in a battle.
