Babiri Berry is a type of Berry introduced in Generation IV. In battle, a Babiri Berry cuts the super damage of super-effective of Steel-type moves in half.The Babiri Berry is very rich in its spicy and bitter taste. According to a fact, it was used as medicine in the past. When planted, they take about 72 hours (3 days) to grow. When fully grown, a Babiri tree will have 1-5 berries. In Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, Babiri berries are sometimes given out by the lady in Pastoria City. In Heart Gold and Soul Silver, your Mom sometimes buys it for you. It can rarely be held by a wild Snourunt.
