Babiri Berry is a type of Berry introduced in Generation IV. The Babiri Berry is very rich in its spicy and bitter taste. It was used as medicine in the past. When planted, they take 48 hours (2 days) to grow. When fully grown, a Babiri tree will have 3-20 berries.
Effect
In battle, a Babiri Berry cuts the damage of super-effective Steel-type moves in half.
Obtained
In Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, Babiri Berries are sometimes given out by the lady in Pastoria City. In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the player's mother sometimes buys it for you. It can, albeit rarely, be held by a wild Snorunt. In Pokémon X and Y, the player obtains the berry by defeating Inver in the house on Route 18.
