Origin[]
The Babiri Berry is based on a sweetsop while it gets its name from the biribá. Both of these fruits are also called "sugar-apples". Its ability to give the holder decreased damage from Steel type attacks could reference the tough and layered appearance of a sweetsop's flesh.
