Aspertia City's Gym referee is a character appearing in Pokémon: BW Adventures in Unova and Beyond.

Pokémon the Series: Black & White[]
The referee greeted the heroes and took them in the Aspertia City's Gym. The heroes were surprised to see the Gym looked like a school, so the referee explained this was also a school for children to become trainers, for the Gym Leader was also a teacher. After introducing the heroes to the Gym Leader, Cheren, the referee and Cheren gave a tour of the school. As Cheren was busy with the children, the referee explained the heroes Cheren could sometimes overthink himself and was sometimes worried if he is a man worthy to be a Gym Leader. During the exhibition match, the referee judged the battle between Ash and Cheren.
The referee appeared in the Best Wishes! ending theme, in a scene where the heroes met Cheren in the Aspertia City's Gym.
