Generation IV[]
Aspear Berries take 12 hours to mature from planted seed to a full-grown tree, with 3 hours per stage. An Aspear tree will produce 2-5 berries.
Uses[]
Berry Crushing[]
At 100% performance, an Aspear Berry will produce 30 units of powder.
Poffin Cooking[]
At 100% performance, an Aspear Berry will produce a level 13 Sour Poffin when cooking alone.
Origin[]
The Aspear Berry is based on an Asian pear, which it also gets its name from. Asian pears are much rounder than the more common packham pears and even have little spots. Its ability to cure Frozen Pokémon may reference how pear trees are able to withstand more cold temperatures than most fruit-bearing trees.
