Ash's Snivy

Template:PokémonCharacterBoxAsh's Snivy first appeared in the episode "Get Snivy with Attract?" hiding in some tall grass. When Ash found it, he tried to capture her with Pikachu, Oshawott and Tepig but couldn't because of her Attract move. Ash spent a long time following her, and then used Mamepato who just happened to be female, hence Snivy's Attract is of no use. After a long battle, Snivy seems to accept Ash as a worthy trainer and he finally captured the Grass Snake Pokémon. Snivy happily joined the group and became a vital member of the Ash's Unova team.

Trivia

• Snivy seems to be the most level headed Pokemon currently on Ash's team.
• She may have feelings for Ash like Chikorita.
• It is suggested that Snivy is one of the few Snivys who abandoned her previous trainers since she saw it as unworthy or incompetent. Which could explain her high level grass moves and Attract, although it may be possible Snivy was strong before all this.
• Snivy was the only Pokemon on Ash's team to ever defeat Shooti's Janovy. After Pikachu fell to it, Snivy was able to defeat it. She later fell to Shooti's Pururiru.
• It may have traits similar to Ash's Grass starters: being a prime battler like Ash's Sceptile, being a protector like Ash's Bulbasaur, taking charge like Ash's Torterra when it was Turtwig and might have feelings for her own trainer like Ash's Bayleef.
