This Galarian Farfetch'd is a Fighting-type Pokémon owned by Ash Ketchum and the first Pokémon he caught in the Galar region, as well as the fourth Pokémon he caught during his journey around the world with Goh.
Personality
Farfetch'd is a competitive and experienced battler who pushes its limits, even when it is cornered at a disadvantage. It has the habit to challenge Riolu, whom it deems as its sparring partner.

- Farfetch'd marks the first time Ash has caught a Regional variant of a previous Pokemon.
- It is also the first Region Form Pokémon since the Sun and Moon series to appear, and is the third Pokémon to join the cast. The first two being Snowy and Kiawe's Marowak.
