Archaludon (Japanese: ブリジュラス, HepburnBurijurasu) is a Steel/Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX.

It is a new regional evolution of Duraludon.

Biology[]

Physiology[]

Archaludon resembles a tall, bipedal dinosaur. It has a rather blocky appearance. It is mostly a silver color, under it being dark blue, with white triangles appearing higher up on its body, while it has red-ish stripes further down. Its tail ends in two spikes tipped with gold, and it has a silver fin going along the middle of its back. It has light yellow eyes, and at the front of its face there is a dark blue “T” shape. Its arms are silver, with long extensions on the back with gold tips, while in-between its “claws” is dark blue. Its legs are similar to the arms, however they do not have the extension the arms have, unless it is using a certian type of move, where it flattens itself from its normally bent position, where it resembles a bridge.

Natural Abilities[]

Archaludon is able to use its terminals to generate and absorb electricity; Archaludon uses its stored electrical energy to fire off a powerful blast. In stormy weather, Archaludon can easily gather more electrical energy and fire it off at a faster rate.

Evolution[]

Archaludon evolves from Duraludon when exposed to a Metal Alloy.

It gathers static electricity from its surroundings. The beams it launches when down on all fours are tremendously powerful.

  • Violet

It digs holes on mountains, searching for food. It’s so durable that being caught in a cave-in won’t faze it.

    Trivia[]

    Origin[]

Just like its pre-evolved form, Archaludon draws some inspiration from man-made structures (in this case, a suspension bridge). It also is based on a forklift. It also looks like a staple remover when standing up.

    Etymology[]

Archaludon may be a combination of arch, dragon, and don.
