The Altru Tower is a location on top of Altru Building. It is in fact, Team Dim Sun's ultimate weapon, the Incredible Machine.

Overview

Altru Tower is a large tower constructed by Altru Inc. Throughout the game it's under construction with its competition date being on Altru's hundredth birthday date. When the plans for Team Dim Sun's Incredible Machine are revealed, they are in fact, blueprints of Altru Tower. At the top of the tower lies the Shadow Crystal and the machine's purpose is to use it's power to control all the Pokémon in Almia. To stop TDS's plan, the Ranger Union commences Operation Brighton to free the captive Isaac and Melody, retrieve the Yellow Gem, and use the Tears of Princes gems to permanently disable the Shadow Crystal. However, a three layer energy barrier is erected around the top, preventing the Top Rangers carrying the Red and Blue gems from getting close enough and Lavana steals back the Yellow Gem. The Player and Isaac climb the tower to disable the barrier and do so after defeating the Sinis Trio, reclaiming the Yellow Gem in the process. Isaac manages to unlock the path to the top, but gets caught in a trap forcing the Player to confront Blake Hall alone. At the top of the tower, the Player confronts Blake Hall just as the Incredible Machine comes online. Blake attacks the Player with a Dusknoir, but after the Player captures it, he uses the most powerful Pokémon at his disposal: Darkrai. However, Keith returns and saves the Player from Darkrai's attempt to pull them into a dark void and takes the Yellow Gem to. Blake then pushes the Incredible Machine's power to a forbidden level, Darkrai turns on him and captures him and Wheeler inside a dark void. The Player is initially unable to capture Darkrai due the darkness controlling it, but when the Tears of Princes gems empower their Vantonage Styler, the Player is able to reach capture Darkrai and the other Top Rangers use the opportunity to bring the Tears of Princes gems to the Shadow Crystal. The gems purify the Shadow Crystal, turning it into the Luminous Crystal, and Blake and Wheeler are released from Darkrai's dark void. Prof. Hastings arrives and reveals the history of Brighton Hall and the Shadow Crystal and Blake, freed from the Shadow Crystal's influence, allows himself to be taken away for questioning. With TDS's plan thwarted, Operation Brighton is completed.
