Altru Building is a location in the Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. It is the main building of Altru Inc.

Overview

The building consists of ten floors, only the first, ninth and tenth floor are seen in the game, and the first floor is open to all visitors. The other floors are for employees only. Throughout the game, a tower is built atop of the building to celebrate Altru Inc.'s birthday anniversary. The Player first visits the Altru Building when Isaac brings them to his show them his work place. On the eve of the anniversary, it was revealed that the tower was Team Dim Sun's ultimate weapon, a giant machine that uses the Shadow Crystal to control all of Almia's Pokémon. Blake Hall has all the regular Altru employees fired and Team Dim Sun takes over the building. In order to stop Blake's plan, the Ranger Union launches Operation: Brighton and the Rangers storm the building and reclaim it from Team Dim Sun. The Player and Keith then travel up the building and after getting past several obstructions from Team Dim Sun, retrieve the stolen Yellow Gem and rescue the captured Isaac and Meoldy. In the post-game, the building returns to its original function and the fired employees return to work.
