The Alola Pokédex is introduced in Generation VII from Alola. It has two iterations: one for Sun and Moon, and another for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Both versions are split into 4 sections: Melemele Island, Akala Island, Ula'ula Island and Poni Island.
The Sun and Moon Pokédex starts with Rowlet and ends with Marshadow. The Sun and Moon Pokédex contains 302 Pokémon, including Ultra Beasts. The Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Pokédex starts with Rowlet and ends with Zeraora. The Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Pokédex contains 403 Pokémon, including Ultra Beasts as well as new Pokémon that haven't been introduced in Sun and Moon Pokédex, such as Poipole, Naganadel, Stakataka, Blacephalon, and Zeraora.
