Alex is a character appearing in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. He is a painter and Liko's father.
Appearance[]
Alex is an adult man with short, light black hair, and black eyes. He wears a pair of brown round-framed glasses.
For clothing, he wears a dull brown long-sleeved shirt, dark blue trousers, a dark teal apron with paint stains, and gray shoes.
Personality[]
Alex is a kindhearted and understanding father. At first, he was worried about Liko's safety, but respected her wish once she told him her desire to continue journeying with the Rising Volt Tacklers.
He is also artistic, being an apt storybook illustrator and artist.
Biography[]
When realizing Liko was waiting for him outside of their home, Alex was overjoyed to greet her. He also became friends with Roy and Professor Friede during so. When chatting with Friede, he expressed how he wished Liko would stay at home longer. However, he respected Liko after learning that she wanted to continue journeying with the Rising Volt Tacklers. He also said that the rare Pokémon spotted by Brassius might be the Rayquaza that Roy was seeking.[1]
When asked by Friede regarding the illustrations he had drawn in a picture book, Alex said he drew those Pokémon according to retellings from his mother-in-law, although he considered such accounts from Diana to be fabricated.[2]
When Liko returned to Paldea again to attend Naranja Academy, Alex was over the moon and hugged Liko. He also saw Liko's Floragato, who had evolved since the last time he met her, which he praised Liko for.[3]
