This Accelgor is a bug-type Pokémon owned by Alder.
Biography[]
On one of the trains in the Battle Subway, Alder battled with Accelgor against Marshal and his Mienshao.[1] Mienshao used Low Kick, to which Accelgor dodged. It was ordered Pound, but Accelgor used Double Team to dodge it. Mienshao used its "arm" to suspend Accelgor from one of the bars above in the cart. While watching the battle with a baker, Black was shocked when the baker told him that Accelgor won, even though no-one was defeated. Once the battle had finished, Marshal explained to Black that Accelgor spat a droplet of Acid Spray on Mienshao. If Accelgor used Acid Spray completely, the battle would ended with Alder and Accelgor winning.[2]
As Alder confronted N, N's Archeops flew around Alder's Accelgor. The latter spit out Acid Spray, which defeated Archeops. However, N sent Zorua and Gigi, as his two last remaining Pokémon. Accelgor went to attack Gigi, due to at a disadvantage against that Fire-type Pokémon. However, it attacked Zorua disguised as Gigi, and the real Gigi attacked Accelgor from behind. Accelgor was badly hurt, but it looked up to its trainer, who went to heal it. However, Alder shapeshifted into Zorua, due to its Illusion ability, which knocked Accelgor down, defeated.[3]
