Alcremie (Japanese: マホイップ, Hepburn: Mahoippu) is a Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII.

Trivia

• Alcremie is the sixth Pokemon to be based on sweets (whipped cream, in this case), the other being the Vanillite evolutionary line (ice cream), Swirlix (cotton candy) and its evolved form Slurpuff (cream puff).

Origin

Alcremie is based on several dessert foods including whipped cream, fruits, and might also take reference to the Whipped Dream item.

Etymology

Alcremie comes from a la mode (pie served with ice-cream) and creamy and possibly cutie.
