Akari is a Pokémon Trainer and the female protagonist in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. She is one of the two main protagonists alongside Rei, and is also a fellow member of the Galaxy Team.

Akari is a young teenage girl with a resemblance to Dawn with long, black/dark grey hair, Grey eyes and fair skin. She wears a white bandana on her head with a design on the right side. She dons a navy uniform with the Galaxy Team emblem on the left sleeve and a red scarf around her neck. She could possibly be an ancestor of Dawn or Dawn herself (as the player character), but there is no official word on either. In the beginning of the game, she wears white shirt and blue shorts.

Akari was sent through a time-space portal by Arceus to Hisui. Laventon found her and let her join the Galaxy Team.

The name Akari means "bright"/"brightness" or "light" in Japanese.
Trivia[]
- If chosen as the player character, Akari would be wearing a Luxury Holiday Loose Top from Galar at the beginning of the game.
- She, along with Rei, are the first playable characters to have voice actors in a game.
