An Aether Foundation Employee first appeared in the episode A Dream Encounter!. Other Aether Employees also appeared in Deceiving Appearances!, especially Team Rocket wearing uniforms in disguise, which came under the idea of the Foundation's branch executive Faba. In the episode Mission: Total Recall, Team Rocket with the uniforms in disguise resigned from their roles with the Aether Foundation after revealing that Faba was planning to erase the memories of Lillie. The Foundation's Employees also appeared in the episode Don't Ignore the Small Stufful!. As Wicke announced about a missing Stufful, the underlings responded. Team Rocket wore the uniforms in disguise, under the influence of Wicke. Team Rocket intended to steal some Pokémon from the conservation area of the Aether Paradise as an offering to their boss, Giovanni. However, their plan was averted after Stufful stepped in to return the favor.
