This Absol is a dark-type Pokémon who appeared in Jirachi: Wish Maker.
Biography[]
Absol first appeared in the film, sensing Jirachi's reawakening. As the group headed off towards the fair, it followed them.
While in a tent with the gang, Butler and Diane at the fair, Max heard a noise coming from a mirror, then Absol smashed through the mirror. It started to run towards Max while Ash and May tried to fend it off, but May's Torchic wasn't strong enough to do so. Ash's Pikachu sent it flying off, making it angry for not getting towards Jirachi.
Then it changed target towards Butler. Suddenly, Butler opened a booby-trap, trapping Absol in a cage in which butler commanded his Kirlia to use Hypnosis on Absol, making it fall asleep in the process.
Later, still in its cage, Absol tried to escape, and was forced to watch as Jirachi's Eye of Truth was forcefully opened. Desperate to save Jirachi, Absol screamed at Butler for his despicable actions. Eventually, Jirachi caused the device absorbing its power to explode, partially damaging Absol's cage. It continued to try and escape until it finally broke one of the bars, and used Razor Wind on Butler before exiting the tent to follow the gang.
On the final day, Absol appeared before the gang and beckoned them to follow it. As it lead them through Forina, it eventually reached the cave in which Jirachi was found, and left to allow Jirachi to absorb the power of the Millennium Comet. However, the cave was trapped, and Butler prepared to kidnap Jirachi once more, prompting Absol to run back and attack Butler's turrets.
