Ok, sorry if this post is kinda low-effort, but you know the new TCGP set, Mega Rising, right? Well anyway, the set has 6 cards of mega evolutions, with the main 3 being Mega Gyarados, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Altaria, with there also being Mega Absol, Mega Pinsir, and Mega Ampharos as well. Also, I'm sure you all know about the first set, Genetic Apex, which had Pikachu, Charizard, and Mewtwo as its main cards. Well anyway, I was thinking, with Raichu now having mega evolutions, it's now the case where all 3 Genetic Apex mascots are the only ones with 2 mega evolutions (before you say "It's Raichu not Pikachu" you can tell from their designs they wanted to make Mega Pikachus but wanted it to make sense). So now I'm left wondering, why didn't they do THESE instead?! It would've been much easier for the 6 mega cards to be of the X and Y megas of each of the 3 then it would for them to do 6 random unrelated megas like they ended up doing. It would've been cool too for the first B-series card to be a callback to the first A-series set. Plus, they could've called it something like "Mega Apex" or smth and that would've been cool (although mega rising is still a cool name). Man, I feel like I talk too much. Anyway, what do you think would've been better: My idea or the actual idea? Let me know! Bye!
