I would create a new ability called "Joker"
The Pokémon with this ability can make its own moves ineffective, normal damage, or super effective. Each having a 33% chance. (An ability like this would probably never appear)

^Well, once a few years ago, I had an idea for a gimmick for a future game, which was almost a mega evolution. the serious "EX/GEN" gimmick, which would serve as a mega evolution but with differences for each one. EX would "evolve" the Pokémon to its final form in a possible worst-case scenario where the species is on the brink of extinction, while GEN would transform the Pokémon to its form in a best possible scenario in which the breed of that Pokémon has a life perfect form (basically Ben 10's Ultimate Form). Their differences would be that EX has a more offensive focus, while GEN has a more defensive and support focus, and each of them could only be used once per battle.
