Maybe. But you also realise that Ultra Necrozma is in that game. If you mono nuzlocke all the way Through that Pokemon and you choose the wrong type at the start then unless you have big luck you are screwed
Ultra Sun and Ultra moon is Difficult enough even when you not play under locke rules so i hope you can have all the Pokemon you can get so my vote is for Nuzlocke
I admire your look on how you see that Roserade should look as a Mega.

Well of Course Roserade is top of my list for a Mega.
I also would love for Milotic and for Flygon to have Megas.

That is indeed a good idea. I remembered the first time i took on Clair's Gym. I had a Wobbuffet as my backup plan and packed with many Potions and Full Heal's and Switching between Safeguard in Turn 1 and Mirror Coat and Counter and Destiny bond in the Final Turn for the Kingdra if needed
I would advise to use Both Quagsire and Ampharos. Quagsire is Imuun to the Electric moves from the Dragonairs, the rest of the Dragonair's moves are no problem at all. And Quagsire although not stab can learn both Blizzard and Ice Beam to defeat the Dragonairs. And also Ampharos can defeat the Kingdra Easily with its electric moves. Kingdra has not a good moveset to handle a Ampharos well.
Lately i took a great likely to Quaxly and it its currently my favourite Starter.
For me it is Ash vs Gardenia. That battle in combination with the Eterna Gym battle in Gen 4 in the Games solidified my love for Roserade as my favourite Pokemon
From point 2' perspective I think of only 3 possible scenario's between Ash and Liko Roy and Dot.
1= If Ash somehow has a connection to Lucius which would connect him to Liko
2= If Roy for Example would do what Ash did before him. Go for The Nr 1 spot and Ash is the final Obstacle.
3= Dot somehow pull it off to get Ash into a Nidothing video or live stream
