Battle-wise, it is bad under most circumstances, but partner Pikachu is pretty good.

I'm usually more of a fan of evolved forms of Pokemon, but one example of me liking the basic Pokemon more than its evolutions is the Rolycoly line. I like Rolycoly's design, but Carkoal really falls off the mark for me. Coalossal could have looked better, but it's ok.
I constantly alternate between poke-uh-mon and poke-ay-mon.
