Klepup (Kleptomaniac+Pup) The Sneaky Pokémon

Ability: Pickpocket

Hidden Ability: Limber

Dex Entry: Klepup steal anything they get their hands on, even if it means no value. They store stolen items in their tails, which often slows them down when getting away.

Origin: Kelup is based in a raccoon dog/tanuki and Japanese depictions of thieves

Kreepccoon (Creep+Raccoon)

Type: Normal

Ability: Pickpocket

Hidden Ability: Hide & Seek (When under 80% hp, transform into the Dark type Ravenous Mode. Defaults to Ravenous Mode if it’s ability is Pickpocket)

Dex Entry, Hiding Mode: They wait patiently disguised as a statue, waiting for a target to get near. It is even able to stop its own heart at will to heighten the illusion.

Dex Entry, Ravenous Mode: Kreepccoon beats its victims into submission before stealing everything they got, including their souls according to legends. They can transform into almost any inanimate object to lure in curious people and Pokémon

Dex Entry: The Pokémon of The Sky and Ambition, Terestavian uses its psychic power to influence those it deems worthy to achieve their dreams.. Members of the Sorayashin clan follow this Pokemon, believing there is truly no point in keeping things the same and that change is a huge part of life. Terestavian can fire projectiles faster than the speed of light, hitting you before you even see it.

Spidranian (Spider+Subterranean) The Infernal Earth Pokémon

Type: Ground/Fire

Ability: Drought

Hidden Ability: Unaware

Dex Entry: The Pokémon of The Land and Tradition, Spidranians body is in a constant state of melting and reforming, never truly changing . Members of the Tochibunka clan follow this Pokemon, believing there is truly no point in trying to be ice something new and and to instead stay what you are at birth. Spidranian can shoot webs of lava that are hot enough to completely disintegrate anything it touches.

Origin: Spidranian, despite its name is based on Springtails and molten magma along with the earths core

Compillar(Compass+Caterpillar), The Compass Pokémon

Type: Bug

Ability: Swarm/Navigator

(Ignores move that makes the target intangible[protect/substute/fly])

Hidden Ability: Magnet Pull

Dex Entry: Compillars nose always points towards the nearest leaf for it to eat. It is said that two compillars may never come in contact.

Origin: Compillar is based on the larva of an Atlas Moth and a Compass

Location: Can be found on routes 1, and 2 along with the enchanted forest near route 7.

Englobe(Enclose+Globe) The Globe Pokémon

Type: Bug

Ability: Swarm/Navigator

Hidden Ability: Magnet Pull

Dex Entry: Englobe use the hooks on their head to hang on trees and chew on falling leaves. The red balls on its body’s move to show when a possible threat is approaching

Origin: Englobe is based on the cocoon of an Atlas Moth and a globe

Location: Evolves from compiler at level 5

Travwing (Travel+Wing) the Direction Pokémon

Type: Bug/Flying

Ability: Swarm/Navigator

Hidden Ability: Magnet Pull

Dex Entry: The pattern on its wing changes to match its location. They are surprisingly strong, able to carry 5x its body weight.

Origin: Travwing is based on the Atlas Moth and maps

Dusterrier (Dust+Terrier) The Desert Pup Pokémon

Type: Ground

Ability: Intimidate/Water Absorb

Hidden Ability: Sand Rush

Dex Entry: Agile and fierce, Dusterier is built for adventure, making it a perfect companion for new trainers. They cover themselves with a layer of dust and sand to shield against their hot environments.

Origin: Dusterier is based on the Japanese Shikoku Dog breed

Location: They can be caught mainly in routes 1, 2, 3, and 6

Mudstiff (Mud+Mastiff) The Swamp Pokémon

Type: Ground

Ability: Intimidate/Water Absorb

Hidden Ability: Sand Rush

Dex Entry: Dusterier who moved to more damp climates can evolve into Mudstiff. They can swim fast in mud by melting their bodies and partially fusing with the mud. Despite their looks, they are highly aggressive and will attack those who dare to test its patience.

Origin: Mudstiff is based on the Tibetan Mastiff and a literal mud puppy

Location: Evolves from Dusterier at level 19 in the rain

Vixmite (Vixen+Mite) The Masked Pokémon

Type: Bug

Ability: Swarm

Hidden Ability: Shadow Tag

Description: Vixmite hide patiently in foliage for prey to come by, before lunging at their face and draining their blood. They hate when someone touches their outer shell and releases poisonous gasses when someone does.

Origin: Vixmite is based on the Gasteracantha cancriformis and kabuki masks.

Location: They are mostly found in grassy areas most often at night and can be caught as early as route 1

Spawnder (Spawn+Spider) The Masked Pokémon

Type: Bug/Dark

Ability: Swarm

Hidden Ability: Shadow Tag

Description: Spawnder hang on trees and rest patiently for evolution. The scary pattern on its back being mainly used for warding off predators. It is said sleeping near it causes violent nightmares

Origin: Spawnder is based on the Gasteracantha cancriformis, sleeping bags and kabuki masks

Location: Evolves from Vixmite at level 10

New Move: Sleep Paralysis, Type:Dark, Cat: Status, PP:8, Description: The user inflicts horrifying images into the opponents head, preventing them from selecting attacking moves for 3 turns. If the opponents asleep, extend sleep duration by 3 turns.

Ghastogre (Gasteracantha cancriformis+Ogre) The Masked Pokémon

Type: Bug/Dark

Ability: Swarm

Hidden Ability: Shadow Tag

Description: Ghastogre are ruthless, crushing any living being that dares to make eye contact. If you’re ever in the forest and hear loud thumping,…give up

Origin: Ghastogre is based on the Gasteracantha cancriformis, oni and kabuki masks.

Location: Evolves from Spawnder at lvl 15

Kamikite (Kami(paper in Japanese)+Kite) The Tiny Bird Pokémon

Type:Normal/Flying

Ability:Keen Eye/Unnerve

Hidden Ability: Speed Boost

Dex Entry: Their feathers are too fragile for long distance flight so they often glide from branches to look for food.They like to rest on top of lakes, the water strengthening its feathers.

Origin: Kamikite is based on a literal Kite along with paper cranes and paper airplanes

Location: Kamikite are common in the Tabi region, and can be found starting at route 1

Warblane (Warble+War+Plane) The Heavy Pilot Pokémon

Type:Normal/Flying

Ability:Keen Eye/Unnerve

Hidden Ability: Speed Boost

Dex Entry: Their plumage is made of a material similar to metal, allowing it to fly even in harsh weather. People used these Pokémon during war to deliver supplies and messages.

Origin: Warblane is based on the Black Kite and old military aircraft, it’s eye pattern partially resembling goggles.

Location: Evolves from Kamikite at level 19

Soaraptor (Soar+Raptor). The Storm Pilot Pokémon (Not a fan of the name :/)

Type: Electric/Flying

Ability:Keen Eye/Unnerve

Hidden Ability: Speed Boost

Dex Entry: Said to move up to 810000 mph, Soaraptor zips around the region hunting small Pokémon. They build up energy as they fly, using it to release deadly electric attacks.

Origin: Soaraptor is based on the black kite, jets, and the eagle of Zeus

Martiny (Marten+Tiny), The Fluffy Weasel Pokémon

Type: Normal

Ability: Pickup/Runaway

Hidden Ability: Harvest

Dex Entry: Using their speed, martiny sneak into farms and steal berry crops, making them nightmares to farmers. Martiny store excess seeds in its collar for later consumption in a pinch.

Origin: Martiny is based on the Japanese Marten and the Pine Marten

Location: Found throughout most of the Tabi region, starting at Route 1

Marfluff (Marten+Fluff) The Swirly Weasel Pokémon

Type: Normal

Ability: Pickup/Runaway

Hidden Ability: Harvest

Dex Entry: Marfluff wrap their long tails around their bodies to stay warm in cold climates. When threatened they can make mini storms by spinning in circles at speeds reaching up to 90 Knots

Origin: Marfluff is based on the Japanese Marten and the Pine Marten. It’s also partially based on the Kama itachi yokai

Type:Water

Abilitys: Regenerator/Volt Absorb

Hidden Ability: Overcoat

Dex Entry: Plushpore lay dormant in the ocean, absorbing sunlight through the holes on its body. They are numb to pain making them perfect for stress relief. It is stated they are commonly found in areas near starmie and Stingmaster, though scientists have no idea why.

Origin: Plushpore is based on sea sponges, and plush toys, specifically squishmellows

Location: These Pokémon can be found by fishing or on the coasts of Rugged Beach as a rare spawn

Cactkidd (Cactus+Kidd) The Thorn Goat Pokémon

Type: Grass

Ability: Overgrowth

Hidden Ability: Bush Cover (Special moves have reduced accuracy against it)

Dex Entry: Cactkidd are as cowardly as they are dumb, screaming and panicking over the slightest noise, bashing its head into anything it sees. Young trainers find this behavior cute and often record it when ever it happens. When someone goes near, they can flex the foliage on its body to turn it into razor sharp spikes as a defense mechanism.

Origin: Cactkidd is based on the Japanese serow. The cactus on its back resembles the moon cactus.

Thorcapra (Thorn+Capricorn) The Sage Goat Pokémon

Type: Grass

Ability: Overgrowth

Hidden Ability: Bush Cover

Dex Entry: Thorcappra absorb energy from the moonlight using the cactus on its back. When the cactus appears swollen, it’s a sign it’s close to evolving. They perch on top of rocks and observe anything it sees with maximum focus.

Origin: Thorcappra is based on the Japanese serow, mountain goats, and the moon cactus. It’s association with the moon could link it to the Hindu god of the moon, Chandra

Cactelder (Cactus+Elder) The Thorn Goat Pokemon

Type: Grass/Rock

Ability: Overgrowth

Hidden Ability: Bush Cover

Dex Entry: Said to be one of the wisest Pokémon of all time, they love sharing its knowledge with others. The thorny leaves on its shoulders are said to cure any illness when consumed. People believe the moon rests on top a gigantic Cactelders head, as it is watching over humanity as it progresses.

Origin: Cactelder is based on the Japanese serow, mountain goats, and the moon cactus. Its association with the moon could link it to the Hindu god of the moon, Chandra. The cactus on its back also resembles a Shinboku, or a sacred tree

Signature move: Thorn Shot. Type:Grass. Bp:80. Cat:___. Pp:10. Description: Fires a shockwave of thorny vines that changes its category based on the opponents lower defense stat.

Emberlin (Ember/Pangolin) the Scaled Pokémon

Type:Fire

Ability: Blaze

Hidden Ability: Moxie

Dex Entry: Emberlin are full of energy, challenging any Pokémon it sees to a fight no matter how strong they are. They store heat within their scales wich they then transfer to their claws. Forest fires are usually the result of an inexperienced Emberlin practicing on a tree.

Origin: Emberlin is based on pangolins and Japanese foot soldiers

Panscrorch (Pangolin+Scorch) The Emperor Scale Pokémon

Type: Fire

Ability: Blaze

Hidden Ability: Moxie

Dex Entry: Confident in their swordsmanship, they cover their eyes with their helmets as a handicap, this usually never goes well for them. Their claws melt when under extreme heat, so they consume tons of metal to repair them. When getting serious they ignite the scales on the back of its head.

Origin: Panscorch is based on a pangolin and a samurai. It’s curved claws partially resemble a naginata.

Armferno (Armor+Inferno) The Supreme Scale Pokémon

Type:Fire/Steel

Ability: Blaze

Hidden Ability: Moxie

Dex Entry: Armferno commands an army of Emberlin and Panscorch, only taking matters into its own hands in truly serious situations. Their claws are made of pure tungsten, one slash being powerful enough to level mountains. They have an immense rivalry with Trioliath, small Pokémon feeling being a sign of their clash

Origin: Armferno is based on a Pangolin, and a Shogun. Their claws resemble naginata, a type of Japanese spear.

Signature move: Searing Stab. Type:Fire. Bp:90. Cat:Physical. Pp:10. Description: Armferno stabs the opponent with its burning hot claws, having a %60 chance to burn. If the opponent has a status effect, it deals more damage.
