Not that Heracross, Pinsir, Scizor, the like are bad designs, it's just that there were so many forgettable or boring designs like Mothim, Volbeat, and Paras

I find it incredibly fitting that Absol, the Pokemon that appears before disasters, is the first Rogue Mega-Evolved Pokemon you encounter. It's a little piece of writing that really proves that GF does actually care but are simply not given the resources by TPCi to make Pokemon truly exceptional.
