Understandable, for me I think that all of those that you mentioned I put low were good ideas poorly execute. Palkia's body shape is kinda wierd to me mostly because it has a random long neck. And dusk mane and dawn wings just look bulky and not sleek to me which I understand the whole look but still.

I've tried area zero, I tried that swamp area, I tried 2 mass outbreaks but no luck. I think I'm cursed lol

I have been trying so hard to get a shiny dragapult but for some odd reason it's giving me so much trouble. Like it's the only shiny hunt I've done in the game that has taken me over 2 hours in total. I've tried 2 salty herba mystica sandwiches and some other methods but no luck so far.
