Scarlet and Violet is the most fun I've had with a mainline Pokémon game since gen 6, but its graphics are inexcusably bad for the most profitable brand in the world for an AAA game. I'm very glad Nintendo had to give refunds because it's glitchy and buggy, and it should not have been released. I'm sick of Gamefreak trying to release so often, we just got Legends Arceus earlier this year, and instead of splitting it between two teams why don't they work with another company to make a better quality game in general. It would be amazing to see a Pokémon game in the style of Octopath Traveler (the 2D pixel art style, but with HD animations and background in a multi-dimensional world) I've always felt Pokémon has looked best in the 2D days, and to see an updated modern take on that style would be beautiful, but I don't think it will happen. Especially because I don't see Gamefreak working with Square Enix. Anyways Scarlet and Violet is very fun, but very flawed.

There's been a grass leader of some sort every generation since gen 6, Ramos, Mallow (I consider her a gymleader), Milo, and now Brassius.

@TentacularTriumph because while the games are fun, they are so rushed, so even the shinies aren't very good. Gen 7 was the last generation imo that didn't feel rushed, Gen 6 was rushed in a lot of areas, but it was the first 3D adventure and can be cut some slack. I'm just sad to see Gamefreak being so lazy with such a massive IP.
I like most of these better because most their shiny forms are lackluster, but I still think Umbreon's regular shiny is good too.
