Depends on the pokemon
Corsola dies and becomes Cursola, for example. There are many pokemon that are just dead people, and Spiritomb has a ton of spirits in its little rock.
I assume they'd become ghosts after death, like the ones in Gen 1, besides the ones that don't die like Legendaries.
As a Godzilla enthusiast myself, I don’t think half of those guys would be an issue for the more powerful side of the Pokémon.

You hit the nail on the head there. The idea of powerscaling is a pretty neat idea and makes sense on paper. Sadly, people do it wrong and then get mad when their ideas of who wins aren't backed by much.
This fight does also ignore something that many WWW posts ignore, being motives, morals, and environment. Where are they fighting? Why are they fighting?
I hate powerscaling, and it is almost always inaccurate as to who actually wins.
But it isn't even just arceus that helps carry this fight. Most Legendaries and Mythicals would do great for this, not to mention the ultra beasts, and a few of the average pokemon. Ditto too
The only ones that will prove a problem will be guys like Gojira himself, Muto prime, King Ghidorah, Amhuluk, Skinomura, and the sheer amount of Skullcrawlers. Off the top of my head.
Most of the Kaiju in the Monsterverse are literally just big animals. nothing else. So someone like Gardevoir could just throw a black hole at it or something and thats that.
These are the Monsterverse counterparts of these, so it won't really mean much. There are enough broken pokemon that they could all take them pretty well.
The more powerful ones like Goji, Muto Prime, and King Ghidorah will need legendaries and ditto, but still should work just fine.
You get the ghost type Eevee by using a stone called a brick
As much as I love Goji, dudes like Arceus just make this super unfair

Compy with a poison type
Velociraptor I would put with I guess either a flying or electric type due to its feathering an agility.
Velociraptor and Compsognathus are really fun idea for a dino pokemon. Would show that some dinosaurs were small too, not just big.
