Thought I might bring this edit forward to your attention. A new editor has removed a video on the article Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, with libel about the user that created this specific video in an edit summary. I'm tempted to remove the edit summary myself but I don't currently have the "RevisionDelete" feature to do this. I can take out the whole revision, though it could make it confusing for readers in the page history.
Either way, it's clear that this editor isn't comfortable with the user that created this specific video being uploaded here. The user who uploaded it though is inactive.
Should I:
1. Restore the video, replying that the Pokémon Wiki isn't censored.
2. Revert the edit and add a hidden notice saying that the video is "for encyclopaedia purposes" or something like that.
3. Remove the file altogether as it's no longer used or against our current Video policy.
Lmk if you have any other suggestions.
Low-effort, maybe? I also disagree with the deletion.
I believe the context of this question is clear to the reader and sufficient enough for the post to stay up. Low-effort is where there's not enough context for the reader to understand what the post/poll is about.
Also, she's not been making repetitive polls within a short space of time.
Updating that my building work is being postponed until next Tuesday, so I should be OK moderating today and next Monday.
Idk. Uruto's only just been introduced, but if he's from Kitakami and has proven himself to be the strongest Trainer then I guess he can be trusted.
I think it's OK to restore. It's a bit annoying that you can't add text to polls aside from the title. Cross-franchise polls I believe are fine, as long as, again, they're not too excessive and within the max-two per day limit.
"I agree with the marge"
I agree with the merge. Also, if we do go ahead with removing the food pages I'll probably write a hidden note in the source editor of the template itself to minimise editors re-adding such pages. (i.e. <!-- -->)
On another subject, is the "Walkthrough" namespace still going about? (I just happen to find this via the Namespace info Special page) We just had a new editor who posted a short guide on how to beat Roxanne on the page itself, which I reverted and sent a message on their wall.
@ObsessionUnbound
I'm not against this idea. I think your plan is very well-organised, but I need to stick to my preferences. Also, feel free to invite other non-thread mods that you trust to join the dc server (e.g. some of the established rp users) if you can do that, as this is a great opportunity for them to speak up in a fresh environment.
Blocked 3 days, and his sock account indefinitely.
I accidentally deleted the Prosciutto page due to "not being significantly notable". What I didn't realise was that there was already a section in the List of Pockets template containing that page. Technically, it counts as a pocket item, and looks like we're sticking to the plan of giving items their own pages, including Sandwich foods.
Looks like the content that's involved to create all of these requires repetitive editing - which I'm OK with - and I still have the game too to add all the prices (and other necessary stuff) in. Once I sort out my plan I'll probably restore that page and add the content in.
Alright, I'll put that in my bio (For now). That could be the little something I needed to lighten it up a bit.
Oh! Thanks, I guess... I'm proud to be given a new nickname.
This post is perfectly fine!
I'm having planned building work around my house tomorrow, and then again next week. So while I may still be active during weekdays, it won't be as easy for me to concentrate on moderating during the day-time period while it's going on. I'll keep you posted.
Tandemaus (and Maushold) are severely underrated Pokemon. I thought their appearance in the corresponding anime episode was quite good too.
(Also, hi, I've seen you around)
I suggest you read our Communication policy, as we have a different set of rules which may have been updated since your last visit. Your recent thread was inappropriate and has been removed, while your latest comment on another thread was over five days after the previous one, violating our DB's necroposting rule.
Just wanted to share this cute image now that we have a Tandemaus fan.
For sake of continuity, thought I might copy TPG's latest edit summary over here in case it gets forgotten (Hope that's OK):
"Getting pics without the TX Network logos for these past series is something I definitely want to do, but these ones where the episode segments have no pictures and/or the galleries have real obvious issues with images being undersized is the first area that needs to be addressed."
