After much contemplation, I've decided it's about time I retired from my role as an Administrator. Despite the increasing busyness of each passing year, my desire to contribute to the forum/discussions led me to take on this role. Now, as I enter the next phase of my life, prioritizing my real-life responsibilities has become more important.

This decision has been on my mind for weeks, if not months, and I'm grateful that I've finally found the opportunity to express it. Over the years, I've found immense enjoyment in being part of this community, which provided me with a sense of belonging that I truly needed during my teens.

I have much more to say as someone who has made tons of memories and experienced a mix of everything here, but I'm kinda at a loss for words because I don't know how to put it all without being dramatic about it, LOL. Hope y'all get me!

Regarding the Wiki Discord Server, I currently hold ownership and am willing to pass it on to a team member who is willing to take on the responsibility.

Before I go, I just want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you who has chosen to contribute to this community. You are all amazing people, who have contributed to this place unconditionally. I think I can confidently say I am leaving this place in capable hands :)

Anyway, if any of you is interested in assisting with the management of the server, please let me know, as the permissions for Wiki Staff and Server Staff vary. We could definitely use some help, considering I haven't been available much myself lately. Hacks and Raj used to be the server coordinators, but both of them have been in the same boat as me, unfortunately.

Upon joining, you'll be given the Wiki staff role, but if you are willing to volunteer for server management, you'll also receive the Gym Leader role for server moderation and handling.

Yeah there seems to be something wrong. Give me a moment.

And Arcane, I have given you the access. If anyone else wants the Wiki staff role as well, they can let me know :)

@Kettlon, we don't have a dedicated server solely for staff, but we've recently created a channel exclusive to the Wiki Staff on the server. If you're interested in joining the platform, please do let me know your username so that I can provide you with access.

I suggest extending the deadline if it's causing people to quit unnecessarily.

Can't believe it's been 7 years since I stumbled into Discussions while looking for Pokémon games on my phone. That's crazy man, time really does fly by. Despite being busy, I still check in here because it has a special place for me. I've seen users come and go, but the community's enthusiasm always remained the same. Kudos to all of you!

Speed control for the team. Amazing setup sweeper, good move pool.

Water - Empoleon

Rock setter for the team, amazing special tank, good move pool.

Grass - Meowskarda

Protean provides coverage, knock off has both damage and utility, could act as a great pivot with U-turn.

As for eeveelutions that would synergize with these, I'd likely go with Umbreon as a physical tank and healer for the team, Jolteon to have pivoting synergy with meowscarda, and vaporeon to act as a safety slot when in need.

My apologies for the mass mention everyone, I wanted some input from y'all for this important discussion.

Currently, I'm working on drafting the New Year announcement, which will bring a little surprise for everyone. I'll also be highlighting things that have been slightly adjusted or simplified for convenience.

In the New Year post, I plan to cover the following:

- The surprise

- Ethical guidelines for Discussions Staff

- A potential change in the way contests are currently held (still to be discussed)

- An official Art contest based on the New Year theme, possibly hosted by Keirra?

(Aside from the Awards thread)

In addition to this, is there anything you think should be added to this thread? It could be an update for an existing thread that needs modification or the introduction of a completely new and innovative idea for games, contests, and more. Please ping me if you have anything to add here, and I'll include it in the main thread. Thanks!

I forgot to mention one thing:

I mostly specialize in chibi art, so suggesting something that might suit that style might be better.
