The Phillipines has a bunch of fun mythology to work with, some ideas are:
-Fire/Grass mon based on theKapre(tree ogres that like to smoke)
-Dark/Fighting Tikbalang(horse-man demons)
-Dragon/whatever Bakunawa(dragon that eats the moon to cause eclipses),
-Dragon/Flying Olimaw(dragon that brings hurricanes)
-Ground(Rock?)/Flying Manaul(bird that started/stopped a fight between sky and sea by dropping rocks and creating land, version depends on which myth)
-Rock/Fire Bacobaco(turtle that dug into Mount Pinatubo and made a volcano)
-Ghost/Fire Bulaw(flying mountain-dwellers that carry torches made of bone)
-any kind of aswang(warning if you look these up, the descriptions for some types of aswang are very gory/body horror-esque)
A male crocodile is called a bull, so this would fit the crocodile theme well. Some kind of fire/dragon carnotaurus/baryonyx hybrid?
Oh wow these are neat! I love the textures!
Awww! it looks so content!
OP definitely isn’t serious but I’ll also add my two cents on why “fatherless” jokes are pretty rude: they imply that growing up without a father figure makes you misguided and stupid, which is quite a kick to the face of people who had actively bad father figures. it’s like the “you should be grateful to the person who’s been hurting you” trope.
wow that was more like two dollars of my thoughts but anyway take your fatherless jokes back to the r/cringetopia reply sections because that’s the only place you’ll find people who like them
Hello. Look at my bird.
Now I’ll go disappear for 5 months again. goodbye

Both versions of Zorua rank pretty high on my favorite Pokemon list. I want to gently hold them and pet their lil heads.
The background is… relatively low effort. I’m going to work on making my backgrounds nicer.
Awww!
Haven’t posted here in ages haha.
I like stylizing Pokemon; I made Altaria here look just a tad more like a dragon by giving it wing spurs and a longer face. One of my favorite Pokemon, its mega is gorgeous.
I haven't played either BW or BW2 but I do know that he definitely starts having doubts towards Ghetsis, also it's never been confirmed that he's Ghetsis's son. Just a boy with the powers to talk to Pokemon snapped up by Ghetsis as a tool for his regime. Characters with unusual powers are usually much more than just their powers, N becomes more aware.
Scrapped for either space or redesigns; most of Gen 4's were just placeholder sprites but the huge amount of Gen 2 betas is sad. Fortunately most of them got redesigned and put into gen 2 and later gens but they're so different that you can draw them and make them into Fakemon, which is something I want to do lol.
Rinrin is cute and I want it to be a thing. Same for beta Wooper, and I prefer beta Kingdra and Octillery's designs to the current ones. Madame, Kurusu, Kotora, the little wolf-sheep, and beta Mantine also deserve to exist.
Beta Garchomp looks like a regional form. I kinda like it.
Beta Arceus looks like a primordial deity, a shapeless incomprehensible being, and perhaps this is its true form and the one it shows the Trainer is merely a version it creates for you to make sense of it.
@BlazeWolfYT2 it may take time for each Pokemon to be coded in but if the release had been delayed a year we would have been able to have a larger dex, more polished story, and better graphics overall. The game is rushed and it's visible that they're starting to prioritize quantity over quality.
Good job!
Check your brush settings to see if line weight/pressure sensitivity is on, if so turn it off or lower the weight strength. It's making your lines look a bit wonky unfortunately.
BIRBS.
Neat color scheme and design, honestly a dragon with flames spurting from its mouth is really cool.
I like this gen's current designs but I think they cut the Dex too early. The Switch can handle much more than 800 Pokemon, and the scaling of the Pokemon in battles is awful.
Mega Evolution was also a cool concept and it was completely scrapped for "pokemon get big." The story had so much potential, Swordward and Shieldbert are the most ridiculously bad characters I've ever seen. I think they might have been written to be silly but they're too annoying to find funny. The game is annoyingly rushed and I wish they'd waited another year.
YEAH. I loved seeing all the legendaries fighting but in terms of story it's horrible.
Agreed. Cool concepts and culture get introduced, receive backstory that is not nearly enough, and are never seen again. I love worldbuilding and I hate how subpar the movies' worldbuilding is.
