Makes me happy to hear you're confident with the community, Piyush.
I wonder why Energy X left @I'm Piyush.
Yeah I was anxious about being expected to devote time to Discussions when I don't personally feel that I can commit to that.
Hello
@ObsessionUnbound I also believe you'll do good
There's some days where I feel like the only person doing a lot of hard work, since others are busy with other matters.
How much has Discussions been holding the wiki community back from doing content?
The content side has needed serious improvement, for sure.
Okay thats good to hear. digressing a little but i sometimes wish i could show some the article content that i do here since i think they're game-changers, but at same time.. yea idk i don't think anyone would care lol
Looks like drama to me
Sure
What's going on here?
Well if "Discussion Administrators" do become a makeshift role, I won't have any major opposition to it. I just don't want it to interfere with our hard work on the content side.
It would be great if we had a person who could do both. I'm guessing Kettlon is burned out from doing too much work and moderating at once.
Hopefully I didn't sound too dumbfounded. I guess I had to wrap my head around it for a moment.
If part of this is about blocking vandals on the content side, I've been trying to keep an eye on that. If you check, I blocked someone yesterday night minutes after they had begun to vandalize.
Yeah it's tricky because their duties would be on the Discussions side of things, but then there's worries that someone like me, who does content work all the time, would be on the same tier as someone else who has done almost zero mainspace edits.
Is such a role even possible to create? User groups are handled by Fandom staff, from what I know.
I guess the confusion from me is that there's already thread moderators doing their jobs, and that you want like more administrators to supervise the thread mods, if I'm not mistaken? Is this to ensure that misconduct does not occur behind our backs?
So basically we have an issue with a missing appointee, from what I'm understanding?
I'm glad you appreciate my performance. Thank you! There's so much to do content-wise, and it'd be too hard for me to focus on Discussions as well.
I don't see why I wouldn't vote for Arcane. The user's doing well at helping with maintenance, from what I've seen on the recent changes.
I'm fine with a thread mod being the council secretary.
@Arcane Lightning Others don't need to worry about misconduct from me since I tend to keep quiet and lack a social presence.
Was not aware of a discussions mod being demoted for misconduct (as well as, to lesser extent, inactivity).
