Ash's first stop in Sinnoh is Snowpoint City. Ash planned to get the first badge there,but it turned out that the former Gym Leader had retired, and a new one had not been chosen yet.
That's where he met Zoey, an aspiring Trainer.
Zoey soon became his companion and rival in the Pokemon Contest.
Zoey was taught the same ribbons as the original and used the same Pokémon.
In Pokémon Contest, unlike the original timeline,Ash became more involved and even became a serious threat to Zoey.
In this timeline, Ash did not meet Paul.
Also, all rivals of Dawn and Zoey from the original timeline are also Ash's rivals.
Ash's Sinnoh Team.
1)Passimian.-Ash's starter.
2)Snover->Abomasnow.-hatched from an egg found by Ash on the Orange Islands, in the process became one of Ash's strongest Pokemon, and while Passimian was Ash's starter, Ash formed a stronger bond with Abomasnow.
3)Buizel.-The same buizel as in the original timeline, only in this timeline he was originally caught by Ash.
4)Vespiquen.-Ash caught thia Bea Monarch as soon as he saw her, though he later had to fight off a swarm of Combee and catch them all. Alola ended up with a Combee hive that later got a new Vespiquen, so Ash has 2 Vespiquen.
5)Starly->Staravia->Staraptor.-The same Starly as in the original timeline.
6)Murkrow->Honchkrow.-Ash Caught him after winning the Forest Badge.
7)Shinx->Luxio->Luxray.Ash Caught him after winning Hearthome City Tag Battle tournament.
8)Spiritomb.-The same Spiritomb, but Ash decided to catch him.

When Ash returned home, Zoey followed him. She wanted to see Alola.
Ash's home was greeted by the following people:
1)Lillie - his first companion while Ash was away, Lillie got her first Pokémon, Alolan Sandshrew.
2)Kiawe - his childhood friend.
3)Professor Kukui - His Mentor and Sponsor.
4)Delia - His Mother.
These people decided to throw a party in honor of his Achievements.
The next day, Ash chose his next destination.
Kanto,his mother's home region.
Zoey and Lillie decided to go with him. Lillie wanted to see Kanto, and Zoey decide what if Ash was able to prove himself in the Pokemon Contest, then she will be able to prove herself in the Pokemon League
Ash decided that he would go to Kanto with Abomasnow, and left his other Pokémon to train until the league.
Zoey also decided that prior to the Grand Festival, she would use Pokémon caught in Kanto and took only Glameow with her. Lillie took the Sandshrew with her.
You know after seeing her best friend Zoey win the Sinnoh Grand Festival, I like to see Candace go big too other than just being the Gym Leader. With her skills she might wanna tryout the World Coronation Series. If she does enter back then, here’s the improved roster after her battle against Ash:
