Hiii so I don't think I ever came here before, so I'm Phoenix, and I go by she/her! pls excuse me if I make any errors, English isn't my first language lol AND SORRY if I get any names wrong, my country as it's own traduction for the pokemon names TvT (that's all you'll need to know about me for now)
SO I've came here to present y'all a theory that came to my mind like an illumination quite recently (yup an illumination no I'm not exaggerating). in fact, I'm currently making legendary pokemons into humans with gacha life 2 (yup I draw but not HAT good) (I already made some, tell me if you want to see them btw), and rn I'm working on Reshiram and Zekrom.
So, I'm starting to make them, just the usual ykyk. I originally meant to make Reshiram's skin black, and Zekrom's skin white, Ying Yang stuff yk. BUT, as they both represent oposite things, I thought this wasn't right. so the logical following would be to make Reshiram's skin white, and Zekrom's skin black, right?
Well, that's where my ✨illumination✨ comes up.
So, if you ever played the black and white games, I don't have to teach you that Reshiram represent... wait NO I JUST REALISED MY THEORY ONLY WORKED IN MY LANGUAGE OMG WHAT
HOW IN THE ENGLISH TRANSLATION RESHIRAM PICTURES DYNAMISM AND ZEKROM MECHANISM AND IN MY LANGUAGE IT'S IDEAL AND REALITY WHAT 😭
Well anyway guess I'm just gonna leave you with the version in my language DEAL WITH IT
SO in the translation ME MYSELF AND I played to, Reshiram represents Ideal and Zekrom Reality (or idealism and realism if that's more fitting to you) (wait maybe it's the opposite ANYWAY it works either way you'll see).
The white version pictures Unova as a region turned to the past, to harmony with nature, as I guessed from the city ruins on road 4, and the White Forest, while the black version pictures Unova as more turned to the future, technology and urbanism, as I guessed from the same places, the city ruins on road 4 replaced by a modern city, and the Black City. so I wondered, what if we linked that to the U.S.A's history, as we know that Unova is based on New York?
"what are you talking about that doesn't make sense" LET ME EXPLAIN ROBERT
In my theory, Reshiram could represent the Ideal's and hopes of native American people, their link to their environement, while Zekrom could represent the actual reality in the U.S.A, the reality of a country turned to technology, urbanism, despite their environements, a country based on white colonialism.
"what about Kyurem" LET ME SPEAK ROBERT I WAS COMING TO THAT PART
So, about Kyurem, he would represent the balance, the neutrality about those extremes, but as far as we know, Kyurem, Reshiram and Zekrom were originally one. what I'm about to say may be wrong, but when Christoph Colomb first came to America, they didn't came here to invade or anything, they were firstly coming to trade (wrong country but anyway). so at first, their relationships with the native American people were pacific, right? but then the had a disagreement, which led to a conflict, and then to the colons to flee America.
You see where this is going?
That conflict could be represented by the fight the two brothers had, then the division of the original dragon, then a war. and Kyurem could represent the people who wants a neutrality, a balance between the two teams, that would be forced to choose a team, as I guessed from the events in black and white 2. and Ghetis could represent those who convinces people to choose their team, even if it means lying to them.
I'm not sure I explained it well, as I said english isn't my first language ;-; and I was a bit disoriented by the difference of traduction but anyways sorry if I said anything that sounds wrong to you, please correct me!
