Betcha didn’t except something like this! I made this comic because I like Pokémon HOME’s aesthetic as a modern, and slightly futuristic way of storing things. I also like Grand Oak and Poké Boy as characters, and I like to imagine they frantically run Pokémon Home as a shipping company or something, as Grand Oak runs the shindig and Poké Boy is like a SpongeBob of sorts, always optimistic and ready to help.

Also if you’re wondering, the comic’s name “Halcyon of Fame” is a mix of “halcyon” meaning good old days, and “hall of fame.”

This is Blazefire, a little Charmander. He Started exploring in Kanto when Abra and Drowzee started arguing about who is the smartest the Drowzee slapped Abra and Blazefire felt bad when he saw. His friends Hydroblast the Squirtle and Venuflower the Bulbasaur and Wingbird the Pidgey and Stingdrill the Weedle and Volter the Pikachu.

Blazefire said "Thanks Guys... Now Let's Help That Abra.". They beat the Drowzee and the Abra was happy and he joined Blazefire's team and he named him Psycomind and Blazefire was thinking of a team name. He came up with Blazermega and moved on. "Ha, We beat that Drowzee." Blazefire said. "Thanks for helping me." Said Psycomind. "No Problem!" Said Hydroblast.

Narrator: Maxi has ventured deep into Viridian forest. After a battle with the green-haired grunt, who trained his Pokémon to be all offense, no defense. But what's this? Maxi is battling against some Bug-Catchers!

Maxi: Pidgey, Use Peck!

Rick: Metapod! Tackle now!

The attacks collided.

Rick: String Shot!

Maxi: Gust!

Gust blew the String Shot away.

Maxi: Finish the battle with Tackle!

METAPOD Fainted...

Rick: No! Metapod can't hack it!

Maxi: Yes!

Maxi walks deeper into the woods and trips.

Maxi: Whoa!

Maxi fell from a hill and rolled into a small tree, breaking the tree with his momentum.

Maxi: Yow, that hurt!

A bunch of worm-like Pokémon attacked him.

Maxi: Ah! These Caterpie are so much!

They tied him in strings.

Maxi: Ah I can't get my PokeBalls! Wait, t-this is a Bug's Nest!

A bunch of Metapod are on trees and Maxi notices them as the Caterpie carry him to a giant, hollow tree.

Maxi: Let m-me go!

???: Free! Frrreee! (You have angered us! You have destroyed one of the fruits of our labor!)

Maxi: Free?

Butterfree: Free! FREE!

Maxi: Whoa, a Butterfree!

Butterfree: FRREEEE! (EXECUTION!)

Maxi: I don't understand what you guys are saying, but I think it might be bad.

Butterfree used Confusion!

Maxi: AAAAGGGGGHHH!

A small Pokémon crawled to Butterfree...

Weedle: Weedle! Wee-dle! (Please, stop! He didn't mean to!

Butterfree stopped attacking.

Maxi: W-Weedle? Wait, are you...

Flashback...

Young Maxi: Hey! That Weedle is helpless yet you dare to attack it!

Present...

Maxi: You are the Weedle that those guys were bullying!

An explosion is heard in the distance!

Dud: These trees would make a good source of wood!

Ripper: Yeah!

Maxi: You again!

Ripper: That twerp!

Dud: We have our new Pokémon from Johto!

Ripper: Oh yeah! Go, Spinarak!

Dud: Now, Ledyba!

Maxi: Woah! I have never seen those Pokémon before.

Weedle rushed into battle!

Maxi: So you'll fight for me?

Weedle: Weedle! (Yes!)

Maxi: Alright! String Shot!

Strings trapped the opposing Pokémon inside!

Maxi: Now! Use Poison Sting on Ledyba!

Dud: Spinarak, use... um.. what moves does it know?

Ledyba was hit...

(Also please bare in mind that these are NEW Johto Pokémon so they are weak in levels)

Maxi: Tackle!

Tackle hit Spinarak...

Everything was going well until a large Pokémon entered the battlefield...

Pierre: Scizor! X-Scissor! (also low in levels. traded)

Weedle dodged it...

Maxi: Poison Sting!

The attack hit but...

Pierre: ...no effect! Now, use Fury Cutter!

The attack was blocked... by Butterfree! Butterfree used Sleep Powder!

Scizor fell asleep!

Maxi: Now! Tackle!

It was not very effective but it defeated Scizor anyway!

Maxi: Yay!

Pierre: You cheating scum! That doesn't count! That Butterfree helped you!

Maxi: Well, that is true... But I will beat you!

Pierre: Hehehe! Im still awesome!

Weedle: Weedle! (I want to join your team!)

Maxi: Huh? Do you want me to catch you? Alright! Here we go!

WEEDLE was caught...

Maxi: Let's go! Another partner!

Idk i was kinda busy so i havent posted anything for the past few weeks but heres a weedle

This is my story for the contest being hosted by @Jaxoon.

Weedle’s Destiny

It was early morning in Viridian Forest. The Pidgeys were singing and the Butterfrees were flying about without a care. Deep underground though, is where our story starts…

Papa Beedrill and Mama Beedrill had been looking after their Weedle for several years, protecting him from trainers and other dangers. But, very soon, he would be 10 and would be ready to go outside. How could they, Papa Beedrill and Mama Beedrill, tell their son this news? He had been with them for so long and never left their side. But they decided they had to break the news. So, later that day, they told him his destiny.

“Son,” Papa Beedrill said, “You will have to leave us soon.”

Weedle’s eyes filled with ocean-blue tears. “No, I want to stay with you, safe in here!”

“Son, it’s true! You will have a new life, and will take on exciting adventures!”

“No! I want to be here-with you two!”

Mama settled things down by saying, “Look, Son, come outside with me.”

“Okay.” Weedle sniffled.

Mama led him outside, to a grassy hill overlooking the whole of the forest. She said to him, “Son, you won’t miss us when you find somewhere to go! Son-Goodbye.”

Weedle gave Mama Beedrill one last hug, and tearfully, not sadly, but happily went off into the wild.

“I’ll miss you, Son.” Mama whispered.

Some days later, Weedle came across a trainer. She had long, flowing ginger hair and a rose-coloured outfit. Like Weedle, she had her own problems. Her Squirtle was always grumpy, because it didn’t have a friend to play with. She decided she should catch Weedle! As her Poke Ball swung at him, he realised this was his true destiny. To be caught by a Pokemon trainer! He entered the Poke Ball, and with a chime and a green light, he was caught!

“I caught Weedle!” she yelled! “Come out, Squirtle!”

And so out Squirtle came. As soon as he set eyes on Weedle, he cheered up immediately. A new friend to play with!

“Squirtle!” he happily said.

And as they walked off, Trainer, Squirtle and Weedle, Weedle thought about his parents, Mama and Dada Beedrill. Maybe they wanted this to happen. Would he ever see them again? Whatever came next, he was in a new chapter of his life, as his journey continued!
