Torterra

I've played a lot of Pokemon throughout my time. I've played many games, had many teams, and made many friends along the way.

I've had some iconic ones, like my Paldea team with Madison, but there is one team that I've had, that will always, always have a special place in my heart. My Sinnoh team of Pokemon Diamond, belonging to Raichu...

It involves 6 Pokemon, obviously. And they are my most iconic teammates. More iconic than Barbara the Noivern, more iconic than Jessica the Medicham. I've made so much made up lore for them, it's crazy.

There was Tru the Torterra, named after the Torterra from the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum manga (the good one)

There was Mafia Boss the Honchcrow, named after the fact that Honchcrow basically are bosses of a mafia of Murkrow

There was Monica the Medicham, or just Moni for short, named after the character from DDLC. The shortened part was just me

There was Nurse Joy the Blissey, named after, well, Nurse Joy. I think y'all knew that one though...

There was Pancake the Raichu, named after my online persona as Raichu_Pancakes, being my YouTube channel and TikTok account

Finally, is Cynthia the Garchomp, named after the champion of the region, and because her ace is also a Garchomp

No matter how many teams I have, and no matter how many shiny new regional forms, evolutions, Megas, or whatever happen, this will always be my most iconic and original team I've ever had

I don't have artwork or learnsets for any of them yet, but I do have stats and Pokedex entries!

I thought it'd be fun if the Turtwig line- Which is a toritise line- had a convergent line that was actually a turtle instead. I'm very proud of these names, lol.

Yep, I gave Drifblim an evolution, lol. Inspired by those big blimps/airships, like the Hiddenburg or which one it was that exploded. Speaking of, this guy has a signiture move!

I forgot to specify that it hits adjecent Pokemon, lol.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have, after precisely 53 hours and 14 minutes, defeated Cynthia under leveled in Pokémon Pearl, without Item Spam (minus one Max Revive).

The team was made up of:

Level 53 Luxray with Magnet

(Roar, Thunder Fang, Spark, Crunch)

Level 53 Crobat with Poison Barb

(Fly, Air Slash, Poison Fang, Steel Wing)

Level 54 Gastrodon with Amulet Coin

(Recover, Sludge Bomb, Ice Beam, Surf)

Level 53 Rapidash with Shell Bell

(Fire Blast, Bounce, Flamethrower, Stomp)

Level 53 Garchomp with Soft Sand

(Dig, Crunch, Aerial Ace, Dragon Claw)

The Paldean counterpart of Porygon, also commonly named “Forestgon”, are a common Pokemon mostly found in forests, despite this, they are not true Porygon subspecies, but more closely related to Turtwigs and some other Grass/Ground type Pokemon.

Forestgon: The first evolutionary stage of the Forestgon species. They have three known moves, being Tackle, Grass Knot, and Razor Leaf.

Forestgon2: The second evolutionary stage of the Forestgon species. It has grown from an old and now-useless wind-up toy ship, that is also seen in Garbodor’s Gigantamax form, And it also has 3 new moves, Mud Slap, Coil, and Heavy Slam.

Poryterra, the final evolutionary stage of the Forestgon species. It has 5 new moves, such as Bullet Punch, Haze, Smack Down, Body Slam, and Confuse Ray.

Trivia

• Some old toys can be found Poryterra’s tree, such as a old toy plane, and an old toy car.

• The next two stages are slightly powerful than others Grass types.

• Poryterra has a Gigantamax form. (I’ll show it sometime of this weekend)

I knew that Torterra was the only Generation IV Pokémon that had appeared in Pokémon Detective Pikachu, the movie.🙂 However, unfortunately, other than Torterra, absolutely none of the Generation IV Pokémon had appeared in this movie.😔 Now I wonder why you think?🤔 Please let me know, thanks.😉

As always, Anthis had been praying to the Arceus statue outside of the Monastery near Hearthome's church. The statue was tall and magnificent, about 3 times Anthis's height anyways. Nearly before finishing up his morning prayers, a delicate yet deep voice was heard behind him.

"Do you always pray like this brother?" Asked Adison, as you've guessed, Anthis's older brother. "Yes of course. I've always found a way to fit it in my schedule. It's something I do before I go on about my day for good fortune." Adison slightly grimaced and sighed. "And those weird fortune tellers hanging around the back alleys don't work the same?" Anthis frowned and walked away from the statue and his brother, who simply watched him walk inside the building.

Adison and Anthis never really got along well, but they were never enemies either. They both look like their father with creamy blonde hair worn in a downwards ponytail (Anthis usually has it on the side on his shoulder while Adison wears it straight down) , and fair skin with a slim build, Adison being a bit taller due to being older, but just by a bit, as Adison was older by 2 years.

Braiding his hair in the bathroom, Adison was preparing for his next opera concert, while his younger brother was outside doing work for the head priest, Celestyne , specifically doing errands around the monastery such as delivering things.

Adison's angelic voice rang out throughout the stage and into the crowed, who was completely silent. Even those outside stopped to listen and was completely entranced with their eyes widened. It's as if his voice had some sort of magic spell weaved into it, enthralling and paralyzing anyone who listened.

After his concert, he took a polite bow and smiled at the crowd, blowing a kiss before heading back stage, where Celestyne was waiting for him.

"Tch, I've nearly gotten half of the city as followers, it truly seems like no one can resist can it?" Adison couldn't help but let out a smile giggle.

"Yes Adison. Soon, we'll have all of sinnoh mindlessly listening to your voice... And my commands. Although..." She had leaned into his hear and whispered. "What about your brother?"

Adison let out a sigh and answered in the same hushed whisper. "Once he's older, I'll get him to join us I assure you. Honestly, how did such ramped beliefs start about Arceus anyways? Anyone can create, such as the Snorunts creating mountains of snow that reside in Snowpoint's gates. Any Pokémon can destroy, such as the thunderous earthquakes caused by the almighty Torterra. But to distort something entirely to create something new... To manipulate the matter of life itself...That's something only lord Giratina can do."
