7 of the same mystica??
What are the odds of this?
Okay, it's been years since the newest gimmick. And being honest? It is so bad, honestly the worst generational gimmick there is
For one, it makes abilities like Protean and Libero USELESS. I mean, come on, that sucks!! Those are such good abilities, so just don't Terastalize your Pokemon with these abilities, it's not worth it.
Next, having to gamble for a Pokemon to have an optimal Tera type is horrible... even if you just want one of a dual type Pokemon's types for it's Tera type, it's a 50/50 chance. I cannot explain how many times I got one I didn't want...
Thirdly, and my biggest complaint, changing a Pokemon's Tera type is needlessly difficult!! Grinding Tera shards is super annoying, you only get a couple per raid if you aren't doing special events to get them. And even then, you still have to rely on your teammates not sucking massively to even beat the raid.
And what if the type of raid you want to do doesn't show up? I want to change my Glaceon's Tera type to Fire. But I can never find ANY Fire raids!! I mean, I can use the Ace Academy Tournament to get some, but even then, those are rare prizes. And with 18 separate types, and other items being possible to get, it's not reliable.
Compared to Megas, Z-Moves, and Dynamax, Terasalization is such a lame gimmick, and I really hope the next generation of Pokemon gives us a better one
The only reason was bc I didn't realize it had COUNTER.
COUNTER, on MY choice band azumarill
So i caught a shiny riolu in a mass outbreak (the event ones) and that is because i didnt update my game by doing poke portal news
Can this be classified as a loophole?
Now i have all the time in the world to defeat poppy (and the elite four and geeta and arven and eri and cassiopeia), get 5-star tera raids and shiny hunt that hoarder
Im just telling you, because if i make a post soon about shiny gimmighoul, dont you think i hacked!
Im very happy about riolu; i now have 8 shinies in that game and i am so happy abt it
So i really want a shiny gimmighoul but you can only get them in 5-star tera raids, which come after all 3 stories are complete (as far as i know) and i want to essentially speedrun the remainder of the game. is it worth doing it for a shiny gimmighoul?
here is how far i am in each story:
Path of Legends: 5/5
Victory Road: 5/8 (alfornada, glaseado, montenevera are incomplete)
Starfall Street: 1/5 (only giacomo is defeated)
Assuming i am not to trade a shiny gimmighoul, will it be worth the remainder of the game?
please take into account the dlc is incomplete, the chances of finding a shiny gimmighoul, and what there is to do in the postgame
I just beat and caught Sceptile but it took me like 5 tries which is a lot compared to usual. Anyone else struggling? Idk maybe I just got busted teams for the other Unrivaled raids I've done
I cant find it pls help how to get it (7:43PM)
Eevee is my favorite Pokémon (although I am not a Genwunner, I also love Greedent and Steenee and many other Pokémon), so no way was I going to miss the 7-Star Tera Raid Event (the bonus Dragapult gift was extra incentive to log on). I never successfully beat a 7-Star Tera Raid before because they are much tougher than Sword and Shield raids and I also haven't had motivation to log-in for most of them. I haven't trained many powerful Pokémon like Annihilape or Iron Hands, so I was kinda stuck with my Pawmot, but with the help of a Mewtwo and two Iron Hands we barely made it! I helped by cheering for an Attack boost too. I used a Love Ball to symbolize my love for Eevee! It's also fitting because this Eevee is a girl.
It was a nuzlocke where I could only get pokemon from tera raids, I abandoned it because I didn't feel like playing it anymore.
Main team
Nya the Poison Tera Dudunsparce: Very tanky
Zelda the Bug Tera Florges: Was pretty weak as a Flabébé and Floette but became a lot stronger after becoming a Florges.
Scooby the Grass Tera Houndstone: Helpful for escaping wild pokemon
Mumbo Jumbo the Flying Tera Magnezone: The other tank.
Brock the Rock Tera Toxicroak: Did absolutely nothing
Frosty the Glalie: Did slightly more than Brock. I wanted it to become a Froslass but it was male
Notable Pokemon
King K. Rool the Crocalor: Died protecting Nya from Iono's Mismagius
James the Psychic Tera Lurantis: I didn't have much use for it after beating Kofu and it didn't have Contrary
King Dedede the Shiny Eiscue: Found outside the Ruchbach Base, currently residing in a box on my main account
Ragnar the Shiny Scyther (now Kleavor): Found near Casseroya Lake. Currently residing in the same box on my main account
8/8 Gym badges
4/5 Titans
4/5 Team star badges
Hopefully you can get yours too, as one of the most anticipated Tera Raids is underway. Mew is strongly recommended, otherwise you might get something like that screenshot at the bottom...
Here was my winning Mew set, as you can see, this is clearly a support based 'mon to help all the ones that use the more conventional combo of Swords Dance and Bug-Tera Leech Life. Mewtwo's Psychic Terrain as its additional move is no chance for my Grassy Terrain. Oh, and I didn't need to Terastallize mine anyway, as my Mew would then be weak to Ice Beam.
Mew @ Terrain Extender
Ability: Synchronize
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 8 SpD / 136 Spe
Timid Nature
- Mud-Slap
- Body Slam
- Struggle Bug
- Grassy Terrain
I found a shiny Eiscue in a nuzlocke (in the wild) where I can only get pokemon from tera raids. What should I do with it
Which types are perfect for getting all 18 opposing types in Tera Raids?
So let's say i completed the three storylines, stopped the end of Paldea in The Way Home, destroyed some 15 4-5 star raids,& showed everyone that I actually reached Champion Rank in the post-game.
Then let's say Mr. Jacq called me for the announcement of 6-star tera raids, but when I check my map, they don't appear, why is that?(FYI. i mean the symbol that indicates where they are in the map)
A nuzlocke but instead of catching the first pokemon you run into you can only catch pokemon from tera raids.
Rules
General Nuzlocke rules
Only one tera raid per area (sub areas like socarrat trail are separate from the main area)
You can use xp candies
You can't change your pokemon's tera type (optional)
Pokemon from in game trades aren't allowed
When you fail a tera raid, the pokemon you used dies

Hi, I hope you're all making the most of your rewards during these Blissey Raids, and having a lot of fun too, like me.
I was looking for 6 star raids in SV, but I can't find any. How can I find them?
Also, I play offline
