I live in a void.
One where I don’t decide what I do.
I never wanted to be a puppet.
But it was written in my destiny.
I watch as the grunts pull the unconscious body into the room for father to see.
“What’s this one?” He asks. “A whisperer, sir.” A grunt replies. Father’s eyes brighten. “A whisperer? Let me see him.” He orders. I know who he’s looking for.
The grunt lifts the tarp, but it’s not the person we were hoping for. Instead, I see the one person who should have never been here.“Trinity?” I whisper reluctantly, as father's face falls. “No. Trinity, why? You were supposed to stay hidden.”
“Anthea?” My sister looks over at me. “You okay?”
“Do not call anyone by their names, sister. It is always better to be formal. Father said so, did he not?”
“There’s the Anthea I know.”
“Hush now, Concordia.”
We look back at father to see him decide Trinity’s fate.
And then he says the best words I’ve ever heard.
“We’ll keep it.”
Ten minutes later, after a lot of polite, orderly discussion (mostly done by father), Concordia and I went back to our room. Black and white figures, many holding Pokemon, drifted around us. Concordia looked up at one holding a Swoobat, smiled, and waved. He waved back.
The two of us have always had a gift with these spirits. From the time I was young, I’ve been surrounded by them. The ghosts like certain people, so they come to those people.
It took me a while to realize that the others couldn’t see them. Honestly, life is boring without these spirits, constantly surrounding me.
An hour later, I peer into Trinity’s room. They’re still asleep.
I’m here to leave a note on their shelf. Father gave them a pretty nice room.
I put the note there, and leave.
They don’t need to know I’m here. They won’t want to know.
Trinity can live their own life without me, because I know that’s what they want.
I just want them to know I’m still alive.
But I won’t interfere. I’ve done enough.
I’ve destroyed so many people.
Already broken ones, like father. Younger, more innocent ones, like Concordia.
Trinity doesn’t deserve me.
They don’t deserve a monster in their life.

This is the Fallon chapter. She's called "Anthea" because in this fanfic Ghetsis adopted her and gave her a new name.
