Which Water Pokémon might best suit Serena in performances? Corsola since Serena tried to catch one, but failed? Or Starmie since we have seen a trainer own one in a while since Misty and because of its Psychic energy?

Zane is ready to battle the Dark type Gym Leader Kai. But it won't be easy.
Kai leads Zane to a dark room with dimly lit candles. Despite their being light, their shadows were gone.
Kai: Umbreon.
Zane: Staryu.
Kai: Umbreon, Tackle.
Zane: Rapid Spin.
The Umbreon knocks Staryu off course, utilizing the main weakness of Rapid Spin and inflicting damage straight away. Staryu lands behind him.
Zane: Swift.
Kai: Swift.
The stars light up the room, but multiple stars hit Staryu.
Zane: Staryu, Bubble Beam.
Kai: Wait, then use Revenge.
The Bubbles barrage Umbreon, but it stands tall. Then with red eyes, it slashes Staryu with a boosted Revenge.
Kai: Revenge is Dark Type, 60 damage. Stronger if you got hit in that turn.
Zane: Staryu, use Rapid Spin around him, and cover him with Swift and Bubbles.
Kai: Use Flash.
Umbreon releases a bright light right into the gem of Staryu. Staryu uses Rapid Spin, but the Bubbles don't hit, but Swift, being unable to miss due to the speed and amount of stars, still hits the Dark type.
Zane: Now hit him with Rapid Spin.
Staryu, still in the air, circles back and dives for Umbreon. Umbreon dodges.
Kai: Seems like the effect of Flash is working.
Zane: Staryu, use Gyro Ball, and Rapid Spin.
Staryu uses the Steel transformation of Gyro Ball for more force and speed with Rapid Spin. It gets a direct hit on Umbreon.
Kai: Use Revenge.
It slashes at Staryu, the force knocks Staryu down.
Zane uses a Potion.
Kai: Smart, you brought medicine. Umbreon, Flash.
The light shines through the room.
Zane: Staryu, face down.
It turns flat on his gem, the gem being his eye and where he fires attacks, that is where he could be blinded.
Zane: Now Swift.
Kai: Use Swift.
The stars fly towards both opponents. Multiple stars jab into both Pokemon. Staryu faints.
Zane: Staryu, come back, Ivysaur.
Kai: Swift.
Zane: Razor Leaf.
They cancel each other out.
Kai: Now, Revenge.
Zane: Take Down.
They clash. Umbreon wobbles.
Kai: Hang in there. Use Flash.
The light hits Ivysaur.
Zane: Use Clear Smog.
Kai: Revenge.
The Moonlight Pokemon dashes and slashes through the ball of poison. But before he hits, he falls, poisoned. Then it faints.
Just then, Ivysaur gets poisoned.
Kai: Synchronize. Umbreon's ability. When inflicted with a status condition the Pokemon who inflicted it gets it too.
Kai: Scraggy, Go. And use Brick Break.
Zane: Ivysaur, use Razor Leaf.
The punch is slowed by the razor sharp leaves, it brushes Ivysaur, doing little damage.
Zane: Clear Smog.
Kai: Wait, and Revenge.
The ball of clear white poison hits Scraggy. Then Scraggy slashes at the Seed Pokemon with Revenge.
Zane: Take Down.
Kai: Headbutt.
The Fighting/Dark type comes head on, knocking Ivysaur back. The poison injures Ivysaur.
Zane: Clear Smog.
The ball hits Scraggy. It still doesn't poison. But it lowers it's Special defence.
Kai: Revenge.
The attack is good enough to knock Ivysaur back.
Zane: Ivysaur use Clear Smog. One more time.
This time it poisons.
Kai: Hmph.
Just then, Scraggy glows. It drops a layer of skin, and is no longer poisoned. The dead skin disintegrates and flies into thin air.
Kai: He has the ability Shed Skin. He can shed his skin to heal status conditions. Use Brick Break.
It knocks Ivysaur back. He has 5 hp left. His legs wobble. He breathes heavily.
Ivysaur begins glowing green. Overgrow activates.
Zane: Use Mega Drain.
With the Overgrow, and lowered, but strong Special Defence of Scraggy, it heals Ivysaur and Scraggy faints.
Ivysaur gained 206 exp. Ivysaur levels up to level 23.
Kai gave Zane 500 Pokedollars.
Kai: Here, the Shadow Badge.
The badge is shaped like a spark of light, but black with a golden lining.
Kai: And a Water Stone.
Zane: Huh?
Kai: I collect items. You have a Staryu. Use this on it. And here, the TM Revenge.
Zane left the gym. He healed his Pokemon and then pondered the stone. He released Staryu. Then he used the Water Stone.
Staryu evolved into a level 22 Starmie.
Now, he had a Water/Psychic type, so Psywave would be stronger.
He switched Swords' Dance for Revenge on Ivysaur.
He headed to Route 5.
There was a wild Charmeleon.
Zane: Staryu, come on out, and use Bubble Beam.
It one shots the Charmeleon with a critical hit.
Then a trainer comes out. He's short and he has a Haunter.
Tim: I want to battle. You knocked out my Charmeleon.
Zane: Oh. Well then, Ivysaur.
Tim: Haunter, Sucker Punch.
The Dark type attack goes through Ivysaur because he didn't have an attack ready.
Zane: Revenge.
Ivysaur slashes at the Haunter. Super effective.
Tim: Hex.
Ivysaur gets hit by Hex, he flinches.
Tim: Use Lick.
The cold, half-intangible tongue hits Ivysaur. Ivysaur gets paralyzed.
Zane: Revenge.
Tim: Sucker Punch.
Despite being slowed down by the Paralysis, the super-effective slash is boosted because he got attacked by Lick. The Sucker Punch is pushed back. Haunter faints.
Ivysaur gained 97 exp.
Zane: I don't want the Pokedollars, I have somewhere to be.
He kept going.
He went to the end of Route 5, with the first badge, the Shadow Badge, in hand.
He had a city to go to, he'd wait for Jake there. He was strong. He had a Fighting and a Flying type. He could win. But for now, he'd be in Walinin City. He healed and stood outside.
Waiting.
The Journey Continues...
I thought of this game few minutes ago.
The Pokemon World is filled with Pokemon and some pokemon have really weird dex entry but we are not talking about those here.
We have to give a weird dex entry to a pokemon that has a pretty alright dex entry. The first one is this -
Give Starmie a weird dex entry.
