Episode 2:

I think I've reconciled that I can't use every single gen 9 Mon, so I decided to clear my deck slightly and released mungcho and Mukmuk (nacli and paldean wooper), since I don't know what I can do with them and they deserve some freedom over me having to fulfill a checklist of stuff to use.
Schuss and phryge stay because I do want to use both... gargancl and clodsire were on my initial team and I realized this playthroughs sub goal is trying to use mons I've never used before.
Finally managed to get Millie to evolve. How did Miga fully evolve before her? She's the early route bug for crying out loud! Anywho I think she's the only optionKan, I have that can hit brassius for super effective damage at the moment.
What? Play rough so early? I thought that's usually an endgame move.
Welp, sorry Millie, I think I found a replacement for you. (And an even cooler bug to boot!)
Oh nvm. Millie's got more exp so I think she'd better stay for now.
As for the nickname I picked copper. Coppers supposed to be "higher" of the Olympic motto, and grasshoppers can jump real high.
Anywho while training for brassius I start to see why spidops is considered bad, but I still have faith that Millie has what it takes to do her best here. At least she managed to subdue the wild sunflora that was running around the town square.
I wonder if these have a hard mode....
Now for a challenge: can I beat brassius with only Millie the spidops?
Petilil? Needed 2 pounces to pull off.
Smoliv? 2 low kicks and 1 pounce.
Trueleewoodo? Uhh...
Millie managed to weaken it enough to 1hp...if only she has the HP left to deal with it. Amik finishes sudowoodo off with a disrespect disarming voice though.
I headcanon Amik must have seen one of the oinkolognes out there while training and got inspired to evolve into one. Completely understand. That said I'm looking forward to the time where I need to use my whole team to take down someone. (Foreshadowing?)
Ok, now to take bombirdier down. It's causing trouble so let's just stop it on the way to stop Giacomo.
Actual foreshadowing what I must do.
After getting some new team members from both areas and training a bit, it's titan time.
(For those curious, the new members were HidyHowdy (Tandemaus, meant to be Hidy and Howdy after a pair of cowboy themed polar bears), Vinicius (Mankey, becuz both are monkey based hybrids), Sukki( Flittle, named after one of the Snowlets) and Huanhuan (Charcadet, for the fire based fuwa like with litwick in my last nuzlocke, except it makes more sense now))
Lele easily defeats her former friend from works first phase with rock tomb. Later she teams up with arvens nacli to unleash rocky karma on the bird, her ability activating in the process.... though she was in anger shell range and the boost easily beats the silly bird.
While deciding who to use for Giacomo, I decided that I think Millie can go into retirement after she helps beat giacomos gym, if we need bug coverage copper should have us covered.
I think I'm gonna want to use a Mabostiff so bad, where's maschiff at?
...not too bad honestly.
Oops, missed an I
Anywho back to training...and getting to Giacomo's front door.
The final team I take to the grunts is messy but it should work.
Phryge the shroodle is here as a cameo appearance for that one user who loves shroodle.
Miga and Millie will be doing most of the heavy lifting against the star barrage alongside Magique. I may use grafaiai later, but who knows.
Now as for dealing with Giacomo himself...
He leads pawniard, so I swap Magique into Miga. Likely because pawmot isn't designed to be use this early his arm thrusts steamroll pawniard...but then the car comes to be a mock incin an intimidates me.
That doesn't do much despite having the type of advantage.
I then swap Waldi in, and Waldi has picked up play rough.
3 play roughs destroy the car...and I noticed I overelevelled everyone but Millie. Oh well.
Next up we're going after iono. Millie didn't do anything in this battle, hopefully she and some of the other OGs can put in some work before difficulty spike catches up to them.
