Taking ideas for Fakemon to draw!
I'm looking for new Pokemon to add to my fan region, the Wisteral region, so help with Pokemon concepts would be appreciated!
Pokemon in the Wisteral region to far:
-Grass elephant (starter)
-Lava bat (starter)
-Wisterian Sandshrew/Sandslash
-Kitsoul
-Indiziro
-Wyveon
So when I was watching a video about scrapped Pokemon a bit ago, I saw two of them called Wolfman and Warwolf. They kind of reminded me of Sandshrew and Sandslash, so I kind of mixed them in a way to make my own regional variants. They are fighting types.
The idea of this variant is that when Sandshrew were forced to migrate into colder areas than they were used to, instead of becoming ice types in order to adapt, Sandshrew grew longer claws and became expert hunters in order to wear the pelts of their victims like a coat. Despite being cute, they are feared all throughout the region (especially when they evolve, where they merge with the pelt they wear and become rabid).
I recently found my age-old copy of Emerald, and was surprised it was still functional. But... barely. The ol' girl was on her last legs and was crashing frequently.
I rushed to see what was in the save file that I could salvage.
Until I found a shiny mon, so old... I forgot I ever had him!

Memories of my childhood began flooding back to me, as I conpletely forgot I ever had this shiny. 15+ years would erode anyone's memory.
Going to the Rock Pokéspot, trying to find Trapinch but instead. A weird-colored Sandshrew?
So nostalgic!
With fond memories returned
I knew what I had to do!
Before my cartidge died completely, I had to move this little guy up to modern gens!
Frantically I gathered the necessary consoles and equipment to move him out urgently and-
He made it!
Originating in Orre, and stayig 15+ years in Hoenn, to Sinnoh, to Unova, to Bank, to Home, to Sword. Like many from the GC era, a seriously long trip through space and time!
