Rock type

No artwork or learnsets for either of them yet, but I though I'd share them anyways!

I got the idea for this Pokemon after seeing a bunch of birds in the sky awhile back, lol. The name was the hardest part-

I got the idea for this after learning that there hasn't been a Rock/Fighting Pokemone before that WASN'T a Legendary/Mythical or Mega. The name came first, which was just "brawl" and "boulder" combined, lol. It could possibly have a natural rivalry with Sableye, as well as my regional Normal rodent-thing line.

Finsil, the guppy pokemon

Rockingking, the stronghold pokemon

"These pokemon are incredibly gentle and very regal in a very magical way."

Vizavila, the regal pokemon

"Evolving from Viza gives Vizavila a more regal look but pure hearted demeanor."

Vizavilaviolm, the Majesty pokemon

"Evolving from Vizavila crowns this pokemon as the Majesty Pokémon known as Vizavilaviolm, it is known for its flowing wings and are considered guarding princesses in ancient Folklore."

Pure water is a poor conductor of electricity.

Instead, it's the minerals in the water that conduct electricity.

I think you know where's this going...

Make Rock types weak to Electric types.

Now, assemble your team to challenge the other trainers!

Rules and observations: You can choose any Pokémon, as long as they are: Rock type or have the Rock type and are not Legendary or Mythical.

If we got an insect type, it wouldn’t be any different from Rock and Ground types. Change my mind.

Rock

Cactkidd (Cactus+Kidd) The Thorn Goat Pokémon

Type: Grass

Ability: Overgrowth

Hidden Ability: Bush Cover (Special moves have reduced accuracy against it)

Dex Entry: Cactkidd are as cowardly as they are dumb, screaming and panicking over the slightest noise, bashing its head into anything it sees. Young trainers find this behavior cute and often record it when ever it happens. When someone goes near, they can flex the foliage on its body to turn it into razor sharp spikes as a defense mechanism.

Origin: Cactkidd is based on the Japanese serow. The cactus on its back resembles the moon cactus.

Thorcapra (Thorn+Capricorn) The Sage Goat Pokémon

Type: Grass

Ability: Overgrowth

Hidden Ability: Bush Cover

Dex Entry: Thorcappra absorb energy from the moonlight using the cactus on its back. When the cactus appears swollen, it’s a sign it’s close to evolving. They perch on top of rocks and observe anything it sees with maximum focus.

Origin: Thorcappra is based on the Japanese serow, mountain goats, and the moon cactus. It’s association with the moon could link it to the Hindu god of the moon, Chandra

Cactelder (Cactus+Elder) The Thorn Goat Pokemon

Type: Grass/Rock

Ability: Overgrowth

Hidden Ability: Bush Cover

Dex Entry: Said to be one of the wisest Pokémon of all time, they love sharing its knowledge with others. The thorny leaves on its shoulders are said to cure any illness when consumed. People believe the moon rests on top a gigantic Cactelders head, as it is watching over humanity as it progresses.

Origin: Cactelder is based on the Japanese serow, mountain goats, and the moon cactus. Its association with the moon could link it to the Hindu god of the moon, Chandra. The cactus on its back also resembles a Shinboku, or a sacred tree

Signature move: Thorn Shot. Type:Grass. Bp:80. Cat:___. Pp:10. Description: Fires a shockwave of thorny vines that changes its category based on the opponents lower defense stat.

Rollmar

Armadillo Pokemon

Rock/Steel

Rollmar has a strong, protective exoskeleton that’s as strong as steel. It’s impenetrable when Rollmar curls up into a ball.

Attack: 70

Defense: 80

Speed: 100

BST: 430

Iron Barbs - Pokemon making contact with this Pokemon lose ⅛ of their max HP.

Hidden Ability - Stamina - This Pokemon’s Defense is raised by 1 stage after it is damaged by a move.

Who wouldn't want a nice little armadillo Pokemon?

So ive been doing some thinking and ive seen that there are some existing pokemon who would match the unused type combos as of generation 9. so here they are:

Bug-Dragon - Armaldo (if it wasnt a fossil) and Slither Wing

Normal-Steel - Klink line

Normal-Rock - the most popular (and logical) choice is lycanroc

Normal-Ice - Cubchoo, Eiscue,Vanilite

Normal-Bug - Tarountula

Ground-Fairy - i dont really know for this but ive seen Phanpy maybe?

Fire-Fairy - this is hard maybe Delphox??? i dont agree with it bc its a witch and literally has psychic powers but i have no other ideas

Rock-Ghost - Sableye i mean, it lives in a cave which is made of ROCK it has ROCKS for eyes and when it mega evolves, it cuddles a giant ROCK. Also, Runerigus, greavard etc. (gamefreak are allergic to this typing it couldve been put on so many pokemon but no)

Ice-Poison - another hard one; the only one i saw was Hisuian sneasel and sneasler but even theyre a bit of a stretch

Brock

Professor Cypress: He is both the professor and water type Gym Leader of the Ellenia Region. When doing neither of those things, he enjoys relaxing on the beaches of the thousands of islands of Ellenia. His ace is Ellenic Kingambit (a Dark/Water type). He gives the Beach badge to trainers who defeat him.

Nicholas is your rival who likes to find rare pokemon. His main goal is to defeat the main legendary pokemon of the Ellenia region (he sees you as an obstacle to be overcome). He chooses the starter strong against your starter (placeholder Blastoise). (His reuniclus and hydreigon are the Ellenic regional variants which are Poison/Dark and Water/Dragon respectively. His aegislash is just a placeholder)

Leonidas is the Fighting type gym leader. His ace is the Fighting/Steel type Sparthundred which evolves from Falinks. He gives the War Badge when defeated.

Socrates is the Psychic type gym leader. His ace is the Rock/Psychic type Jewelgantic which is a regional variant of Coalossal. He gives the Thought badge when defeated.

Constantine is the Rock type (and final) gym leader. His ace is Staturigus, a Rock/Ghost regional form of Cofagrigus and Runerigus. He gives the Legend badge when defeated.

Flying, Steel, Ground, and Dragon: They get titans and Elite Four members. But what representation do rock types get: AN ANGRY CRAB AND A POST-GAME MATH TEACHER. SHAME PALDEA, SHAME." "For far to long have rock types been known for being sluggish and weak to everything. But soon that will change. I will become Paldea's Rock Type CHAMPION."

So I start out naming my character Rick as that is one letter away from Rock. I make it to Nemona's house and choose Quaxly as my starter because that means Nemona has Fuecoco so I don't have to worry about being swept my Meowscarada or Quaquaval. I then beat up Nemona's Fuecoco and the random Lechonk in the catching tutorial. I then make it outside of Mesagoza and decide to do that one trick that lets you leave South Province Area 1. I then catch a Rockruff and Nacli and call them Brickhound and Chip respectively. I then wander to Cortondo, Cascarrafa, Medali, Zapapico, Levincia, and Artazon so I could fast travel there later (I also found out you can't fight gyms or team star until you leave Mesagoza).

I then rock Nemona's world (pun intended), enter Mesagoza, beat up some noobs and leave. I then download a Kleavor from HOME which I boxed because it was overleveled. I then go to Cortondo to fight the gym. Chip had a -speed nature and Brickhound was outsped by Katy's Teddiursa and I almost lost. I also traded for a Larvitar because Violet has no rock types, caught a Chewtle which I named Dread, fought and caught the Stony Cliff Titan which I named Krusty, and caught a Carkol and named it Colossus. Colossus then swept Brassius and Krusty defeated the Open Sky Titan.
