So this is something i made up where you say if you prefer the regular variant of a pokemon or a regional variant of that pokemon like this:
I prefer regular/alolan/galarian/paldean ____ over regular/alolan/galarian/paldean ____
And the person commenting after you gives their opinion on the regular or regional of your pokemon (like this example:)
I prefer paldean wooper over regular wooper (just an example)
(NEXT PERSON:)
I prefer regular wooper over paldean wooper
(then they give their opinion on a different regional variant)
I prefer hisuian samurott over regular samurott
And so on and so on
(REGIONAL EVOLUTIONS- APART FROM CLODSIRE- DONT COUNT)
I will start:
I prefer alolan sandshrew over regular sandshrew
I
I do have different opinions for certain Pokemon and their evolutions eg i like mr rime but not really galarian mr mime
Did I capture the Pokémon art style well?
I know it seems very strange and it’s definitely the weirdest fakemon I’ve designed, but I do quite like it 😊. If ur confused, it’s based on a pearl fish and the 2 fish are its legs lol 😭 he is very goofy but also charming. Got any name suggestions for it?
Also here’s its pre - evo
It’s a regional form of pyukumuku based on pearl fish, working on evolutions for it too!
Also if ur wondering here are some older versions, which is the best out of the 3?
1st version
2nd version
Remember, MY OPINION so don't attack me over it
(POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR ONESHOT AHEAD)
So I made a few (two) regional forms for the whole Indie Game Region, and wanted to show them off!
Regional Espurr + Evolutions based on OneShot
Espurr will have three evolutions depending on how you evolve it.
Savior Form:
You can evolve it into this form by leveling up regularly (at the moment, subject to change.)
Home Form:
You can evolve it by leveling it up/evolving it at the location you first caught it.
Solstice Form:
Take it to the location you first caught it, and use a Sun Stone. (Or, high friendship + Sun Stone)
Dex Entries:
R: Espurr:
This Pokémon’s chest displays a bright light, allowing it to better see its surroundings. Though, the lights can be mistaken for the sun, leading people and Pokémon think it is daytime whenever they’re near one.
Savior Form:
This Pokémon is usually seen isolated from others, feeling comforted by the light that pushes everyone away from it. This leads it into living in darker places.
Home Form:
This Pokémon is said to be very friendly, rarely straying too far from their homes. The light on its chest is said to break upon evolution, allowing it to evolve.
Solstice Form:
This Pokémon is very rare to come across in the wild, wherever it is, it will usually be seen helping nearby people and Pokémon, before carrying on with whatever they were doing.
Regional Sinistea (Cuphead)
This Pokémon evolves in the regular level-up fashion.
R: Sinistea:
This Pokémon is often seen getting into trouble. Don’t let its cute looks deceive you, it is a trickster at heart. Though, these Pokémon will often drop their impish behavior when someone is in need of help.
Evo/Polteaghiest:
This Pokémon is often seen having exaggerated emotions, which makes it great with kids. It is also often seen in the film industry, as its talents are used in movies or shows.
That’s all I got. Feel free to share suggestions. And thank you for coming to my TEDTalk
Like the title says- this thought came to me while listening to music.
What if there was a Fakemon region/game based on Indie Games?
Might try drawing examples of regional forms and such, but I have a few pitches.
Gym Leaders are based on less known games- but are still somewhat recognizable.
Elite Four are the main four indie games, Undertale, FNAF, etc.
Champion is either the most well known indie creator, STEAM itself as a theme, or the most successful one.
Starters I’m not so sure about- my idea for the Evil Team could be about how indie games are often in the shadows of bigger game developers and are prone to possible stealing without anything they could really do.
Feel free to leave suggestions! I’ll try making some drawings of regional forms first because those may be easier starts.
For me it's Hisuian Zorua/Zoroark
Edit: Guys I just meant the forms not the new evos that some regional variants have-
First time making a custom sprite, how is he???
Empoleon
The Penguin Pokémon
Water/Ice
Ability 1: Swift Swim (the Pokémon moves faster in rain)
Ability 2: Thick Fat (the Pokémon takes less damage from Fire and Ice type moves)
Hidden Ability: Competitive (when the Pokémon's stats are lowered, its Special Attack increases)
(Probably my least favorite of the 3 I have made-)
Dex Entry 1: Empoleon are very social Pokémon, often living in large groups with many others of their species, along with their young.
Dex Entry 2: When a Piplup evolves, they tend to leave the group until they evolve into Empoleon, when which they will return to rejoin the group.
Serperior
The Toxic Snake Pokémon
Grass/Poison
Serperior vibrates its tail on the grass to create a rattling sound that is means to warn approaching trainers or Pokémon that if they get closer, they will receive a venomous bite
(Like normal Serperior, this one keeps its hands tucked behind its back)
Skeledirge
The Fire Croc Pokémon
Fire/Dark
Ability: Mud Mask (gives the Pokémon STAB for Ground moves)/ Earth Eater (makes the Pokémon immune to Ground)
Dex Entry 1: Skeledirge burrows underneath the mud puddles of its territory, and patiently waits for prey to come close. Once it does, Skeledirge ambushes its prey, latching onto one of the prey's limbs, shaking and rolling furiously, trying to rip off the leg.
Dex Entry 2: The anger of the failed hatching of its egg from it was a Crocalor gave Skeledirge a mean spirited disposition. It Likes to hunt near shallow pools of water.

Unovian Scatterbug-
"Scatterbug's spindly limbs are reinforced by condenced webbing. It takes all of its energy to use them to hold itself up. Tries to give other Pokemon hugs, which often gets it eaten."
Ability- Scavenge. Cannot use berries, but it cannot be Paralyzed, Poisoned, Burnt, or Frozen.
Bug type.
Unovian Spewpa-
"Spewpa hides in the ground, letting its afro stick out. Joltik and Spinarak climb in, thinking its a nest for them, but get stuck and fall into the acid inside. This gets Spewpa in trouble with Galvantula and Ariados often.
Ability- Trapdoor. "When this Pokemon is hit for the first time in the battle, it will poison the foe."
Bug and Poison type.
