Inteleon are very intelligent pokémon. they are shown at some level to even be able to understand human speech.
due to this, and their many abilities, they are often being used to assist in secret spy missions and the such.
some inteleon can even climb up walls, it being a lizard pokémon and all!
unlike when they were sobble or drizzile, inteleon can control their emotions a lot more now, and aren’t as prone to crying or breaking down or being startled into hiding. however, they are still quite emotional- just that they don’t show it.
Gigantamax inteleon have a few more cool capabilities than normal inteleon, such as their crest being more sensitive to movement and sound and their vision being much sharper!
this comes at a downside of it sensing everything all the time, so they become anxious and overwhelmed easily and usually avoid places with too much sensory information like big crowds and such.
the flying ability of an inteleon varies across different variants; their membranes which help them glide are usually called “capes”.
smaller-caped inteleon usually have very limited flight or can’t fly at all, but their mobility and speed is boosted because they dont have a large cape to lug around.
normal is well, normal, and larger-caped inteleon can fly for much farther and longer! buuuut their mobility is often hindered and their cape is often caught or torn on stuff (they can regenerate it if the wound isn’t too serious, though.
an inteleon doesn't just automatically turn invisible once it touches water anymore, they can control when and where they go invisible now, though.
I personally think the “knife” they have in their tail comes out at the end of it like a cool bladed tail they flick violently to unsheath. they only use it when cornered or forced to engage in close combat.
when you do see inteleon in the wild, they’ll normally ignore you in favor of self-preservation, but if you show obvious intent of wanting to harm they’ll make quick work of you with their finger guns and water blades.
if there are bullet-like wounds on a person’s body but no bullet was found anywhere near the scene, it was probably the work of an angry inteleon.
they also can hold their breath underwater for up to an hour, and their eye membranes can help them see clearly underwater without their vision being distorted by water refraction!
just as they’re super protective of their young, they’re super protective of their trainers and even act chivalrous to those they think are worthy.
Also, a bit of a Nihilego headcanon that i found interesting:
It’s true that Nihilego don’t have any personality or minds of their own when they are born. But once they absorb another living being as it’s first host, I imagine they “absorb” the host’s personality too, and that becomes the Nihilego’s main personality for the rest of its life.
That means, a quiet and relaxed Nihilego probably took possession of a quiet and relaxed person before. An energetic and hyper Nihilego probably took possession of an energetic and hyper person before, and so on.
Please don’t bury this immediately-

The fact that, while simultaneously hunting in SwSh for Regieleki (with shiny charm). I ended up pulling Nihelego in USUM (without shiny charm) first!
But wow, for a Pokémon with a 45 catch rate, it made me work for it! It felt as if I was trying to catch a legendary with a catch rate of 3.
After over 60 Luxury Balls, At last I can add this one to my collection!
Now, note to self: Dont do this without shiny charm ever again xD
I don't understand why Nihilego is a Rock/Poison type and Eternatus is Poison/Dragon. I might understand the second Pokemon's Dragon typing, but...Poison? I- what makes a Dark/Dragon-looking legendary world destroyer...I think, a possibly venomous being?? GameFreak, what kind of logic is that-
I couldn't find my paint, so some stuff could be better if I could paint the legos like umbreon's ears and lugia's bottom jaw.
